Is this montage implying that Flim and Flam won’t be reformed by the end of the series? If you think about it, many of the characters that appear in here are reformed antagonists (Trixie, Discord, Gilda, Garble, Capper and the Changelings). Flim and Flam are the only non-reformed ones appearing, and don’t seem to be in a good shape. Gotta say, while in a way it is hilarious, on the other side I kinda feel bad for them. I mean, all of those bad guys changed their ways and found their ways in life, while those two are still in their usual antagonistic mood, and are not doing too well. Ah well, not everyone can change, even in real life.

Fair enough. Besides they DID get a chance of redemption back in S6, but apparentely helping others didn’t make them feeling better, so they stayed to their old ways, but they paid the consequences. You had your chance you tricksters.
Speaking of redemptions…. I repeat: is it bad to hope for a redemption for Lightning Dust as well? IMO she’s the only other character who deserves a redemption, who is still antagonistic. I think I know how could it be pulled off: a friendship-rivalrly episode. Lightning Dust said “RIVALS FOR LIFE!” Before “blasting off again” in The Washouts, so she might see RD as an “enemy” because she that’s her vision of rivalry. Maybe RD could help her somehow in changing that vision and in that way she could become less reckless as well.
I know that the show had too many redemptions, but in all honesty, I never minded them. I always loved the bad guy becoming good (and always hated the opposite… looking at you Penelope (Sly Cooper) and Cassandra (Tangled the series)) and I think LD deserves to go through that route as well.

In my opinion, both the Flim Flam brothers and Lighting Dust should be redeemed. I think that Flim and Flam should turn out to be long lost relatives of the Apple family, just to see Applejack’s reaction to that.
Maybe if they don’t have time to devote a whole episode to redeeming them, they can be redeemed in the series finale by helping to stop the evil villains with all the other characters.
