Should there be a G5 version of Equestria Girls?

They seem to expect EQG to survive the gen swap,

sometimes a spinoff outlasts the main show. Maybe sunset will visit the G5 Universe.

The portal suddenly ‘switching’ to a dimension where there are already different worlds? Plus, meeting these other versions of people she knows that unlike the current Equestria, can not at all be guaranteed to basically be the same people?

All it would mean is G5 and G4 Are separate universes that co-exist. Maybe sunset Goes through the portal to visit Equestria but due to wackiness and unforseen events, the wormhole is thrown off course and she winds up in G5.
 
She would then be aided by the new Mane 6 as she tries to fix the portal. could be a great way to introduce the next gen.

Keeping EqG going after the FiM would be too confusing unless they cut off access to Equestria entirely.
 
That’s why I suspect there’s going to be a feature-length special in the future dealing with that, where they have to close the portal forever. That way they can keep EqG going without having G4 pony appearances at the same time as G5.

I just don’t wanna dump EG or g4 onto g5 in the first place.

Just a few weeks ago, I was told I will never get my dream job because of a surgery I had when I was 12. My world can’t get much more disappointing. But hey, even if a New Glimmer shows up eventually, she can’t possibly be as bad the current one. the writers wouldn’t repeat the same mistakes twice.

Actually if there’s one thing I would ask from G5, it’s that Rebecca Shoichet gets a role. She’s in my opinion the best actress on staff (bar Andrea Libman when she’s really on point).

I think Tabitha St. Germain is the best. Because of the variety in her voice acting.

She has an amazing gift for comedy and a thousand voices, but sometimes I feel she could do well the reign in the ham a little. Unlike the others, I can’t think of a moment where she’s really ‘acted’, and really pinged my heartstrings.
