Here we are so it’s not a script or a storyboard.At this point,it can be the leftover of a brainstorming note like the the Sony Pictures leaks dropped some tidbit about a character named Prince Cosmos who never materialized.Maybe you guys are freaking out over some leftover drafts here

I think Grogar is greater scope.

There’s a good chance that the Starlight/Trixie rocket toy will be based on a scene from the season 8 episode, “On The Road to Friendship”, based on the description of the toy and the summary of one of the episodes.
 
I have the feeling it’ll be all “feelsy” and “epic” when it’s presented during the episode to the point almost no one will stop talking about it for a while.
 
I hope that’s not the case, but it probably will seeing just how many individuals just love the rocket toy.

I think it’d be neat if the G5 transition movie also had appearances from characters from previous generations.

I guess the problem is that they want Applejack to remain as her familiar, beloved G4 self.
 
To make matters worse (in their part), those fans consider the usage of a Black voice actress for their fave character as “political correctness”, simply for placing “diversity” like that, and it makes them very angry.
 
But in regards with G5 Applejack, I’ll just have to wait and see – her being a reformed rogue would seem interesting.

Personally, I’d rather all the same voice actresses were able to keep their roles. Even if the characters were to be changed a bit.

Me too. At least newer audiences might become interested at the older (or current for our time) and cuter versions of the characters, and it becomes a sort of “continuity” of the FiM series for older fans.

The remark in the leak referring to AJ as “too hick-ish” really doesn’t help the perception that coastal elites hold a contempt toward rural populations, nor does them aiming to cast a black woman to invoke a “ghetto” image dismiss the impression that they view blacks as the urban substitute for white un-sophisticates. Throwing in the current cast and crew’s history of hateful remarks toward right-wingers, I see this as them trying to have their cake and eat it too; they still want a “hick”, but the “hip” sort that they can flaunt superficial diversity with rather than the “flyover country” sort that’d remind them of who’s sitting in the President’s chair.
