Still complete radio silence on anything merch-based for G4. No S8 let alone S9 DVDs, no soundtracks, no nothing but a couple toys for Rainbow Roadtrip a couple months late. :/

I have been wondering when the Rainbow Roadtrip and S8 DVDs are going to be released. It’s been about a year since the S7 DVD came out.

At this point I bet they might not be doing individual season releasing. Most likely we are going to have to wait for a complete series set for those.

I don’t like ranking seasons based on my opinion.

That doesn’t make sense. Why would they give up after seven seasons worth of DVDs?

They stopped halfway through Season 6 here in Australia last time I checked…

Because if they are doing a complete series set (which lets face it there is no way they aren’t) there is little reason to release the individual seasons before that. I mean they might do it at the same time as the complete series set just for people who have bought the other individual sets but I really wouldn’t expect it before that. Especially since it has been a year since the last release.

Why sell some 30 dollar DVD sets on there own when you can make people buy the 150-200 dollar complete series set? Most people who are going to buy the DVD sets aren’t going to bother buying the individual ones at this point; they know the complete series set is coming. The parents who want to get the final two seasons for their kids now have to re-buy the ones they already have, and pay an extra 90-140 dollars to get the last two.
 
Again they might release the last two season individually after the reveal of the complete series set, but I really doubt they would before. That cuts into sales to parents who want to get the last two seasons for their kids buying the complete series set instead.

Because parents are more likely to buy the cheaper seasons than taking out over $100 for some cartoon. The market that would buy the complete series is smaller and if they sold it both ways, they’d get both demographics.

I know it’s sad that the show has ended, but we still have quite the fandom (and likely will for God knows how long), and we can still draw fanart of the ponies. I’m not sad that the show is over, I’m happy that the show happened.

Yeah, we are overdue for one

I LOVE Sunset Shimmer. I love how she became a villain. I love her reformation. I love how she had to earn her way into having friends and becoming a villain. I love how she made up with Celestia. I love her relationship with Twilight.
 
But I still hate Equestria Girls. I would’ve loved for Sunset Shimmer to be in FiM instead of Equestria Girls. Perhaps have her as an actual rival to Twilight. (I don’t count Trixie as a rival since she’s not strong, and Starlight was never a rival)

I just wish she could have moved back to regular Equestria. I think sh could have make a good connection with Twilight, and probably some nice stories with other characters.

I like EQG as it is.

Well, is not the human thing what baffles me, but is rather the relatively mundane way to developt compared to the more spectacular pony side of the mirror.

Lil’ Cheese being a boy is awesome. Honestly don’t get why there was any discourse about it.
