It will not, I was shocked at having 5+ min load times on an nvme, especially in downtown Boston. I am hoping the next gen update that comes on the 25th will have improved load times. Only guessing here though.

It’s best not talking to someone who doesn’t respect your opinion.

That’s exactly what I’ve said before. The big push for better graphics was never for the benefit of gamers, or if it was, it stopped being about them a long time ago. Now, it’s to wow investors, shareholders, and other people who don’t play video games, whose view of video games is permanently trapped in the days of the Atari 2600 or the NES.

I’ve seen plenty of artists pushing this sort of thing, but yes obviously not all artists are the same. I just find it interesting that some non-negligible amount of artists do support such a thing.

It’s reminiscent of “Gothic Kawaii”, or “Kauai Noir”. Kind of like in pillow books.

Sometimes also called “Pastel Goth” style, or “Yami Kawaii” or “Guro Kawaii.”

It often features oversized eyes, frequently conflicting pastel colors, and implications of illness or injury, or overwhelming internal sadness. It’s sometimes used to explore and express complex emotions or societal issues.

If you haven’t read Junko Mizuno, highly recommended. You’ll never look at some of those big eyes ponies that are being uploaded the same.

Unfortunately, I don’t know a name or term for the eyes themselves. I’ll ask some friends to see if they know.

You’re here complaining about how people making 590k a year are paying “almost 40%” of their income in taxes. Which, for someone in the same bracket and economic class is incredibly bizarre that you would go so far out of your way to position yourself as an ally of someone who would own several used car dealerships and be apart of the mileau allowing them to reduce their tax burden through clever legal tricks.

They are neither an artist, or a spokesperson for artists. They are only representing their own need for … I’m guessing attention and drama and to be at the locus of some sort of “AI boogaloo” or some shit like that.

Anyway, if you want to talk to an artist about it, or find out what artists think, that’s not the right place to look.

I actually wonder if Daring Do ever donated artifacts to the museum or something. Otherwise it gives the impression of being a thrill seeking author trying to fight against writer’s block.
