To strike the record, my avatar of Comet is one from a show screenshot I took myself. If you don’t believe me, I can upload it the same way I’ve now uploaded another screenshot of him I originally intended to use for an avatar. I was not just copying Derpy, I’ve had a different Comet image for an avatar on MLPF for a while now too and I went through a lot of trial-and-error before this Derpibooru avatar felt just right to me. This was the original Comet avatar I intended to use.

I even thought about using one that I felt could make for a good “Dafuq?” reaction image for an avatar here, but I went with this one because it felt more natural to me.

No, I don’t want to admit such a thing, mainly because I don’t want to compare both and see each shows as their own separate entities.

I honestly find Roots of All Evil to be better than FiM’s finale. And Chapter 6 actually has been showered with praise, I did a poll on another pony site and it was the most popular choice for favorite chapter, beating Chapter 4.

I don’t see G5 as an upgrade or a downgrade to G4 tbh.

Both do a lot of stuff good and have flaws

Yeah. They need to make TYT and MYM more connected when it comes to character personality… And voice acting (it kinda annoys me how many voice acting choices in non-English dubs of TYT don’t match the ones in MYM).

I would NOT go that far, but I think I’ve said in the past how I do feel people ignore how problems/“problems” they complain about in G5 were in G4 too and I definitely find some things in G5 to be improvements. Perfect example is the problems/“problems” and improvements with Opaline. Looking at Opaline’s supposed problem with “losing her complexity” with her song, Villain…you have to be joking. No one remembers A Better Way to be Bad? Opaline, unlike the Evil 3, actually had a lot of buildup and was given more development than any other irredeemable villain from FiM.
