Soon to join my collection. It’s been a while since I ordered a scale figurine. Got it for a good deal, too, and the person I’m buying it from has an excellent reputation.
The figure itself looks untouched, but it came prepackaged with a DVD of the series that the guy took out, hence the tape. Seeing how I don’t keep my figurines boxed this isn’t much of an issue for me, though, as long as it arrives in a good enough condition. Twenty bucks for this is an absolute steal, even if it’s a bit small for most figurines.

I’d say it leans more towards the bad side of average. There are some scenes that, stylistically speaking, were actually kinda cool. But the anime as a whole is eh.

I have good news and bad news. Good news is, Akame ga Kill will finish its run on Toonami for a few more weeks! Bad news is, it’s being replaced by Dimension W. The latter isn’t exactly bad, but it isn’t “good”.

back in the 90s mazinger z was supposed to be aired along side daimos and voltes v as part of an anime nostalgia block. but mazinger never aired. the official reasoning back then was ‘he got stuck in traffic but he’ll be on tv soon’ but they never did air.
