Digimon Tri is basically a series though. 6 movies = ~24 episodes.

Listen, when it comes to movies, Toei does their best. But when it comes to TV shows, they put in a LOT less. Compare Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Super for example.

And despite all that, it’s still remembered very fondly by people. Even well-known anime airing at the same time like Trigun doesn’t get the same treatment.
 
Good lord, now that I watch it again, the animation really is hilariously bad.

Digimon Adventure Tri seems to have pretty decent animation actually, despite also being made by Toei.

I recently rewatched it actually. And while I can see why kids liked it REALLY didn’t age well. The animation was often laughably cheap, the characters were often too exaggerated to be interesting, and the fight scenes were nothing short of a chore to sit through.

I think season 3 was great it’s like man of steel but with digimon!

Why does Digimon Adventure seem to bring a particularly strong nostalgia reaction to people? It’s certainly not the only good anime airing around that time, but people seem to remember it as “the childhood memory” more than others.

Seriously though, the dub of Parasyte is SO much better than Akame ga Kill’s dub.

I actually just started watching parasyte because a friend suggested it too me after the trainwreck that was Agame. It actually looks really interesting so far and I’m somewhat hooked.

like most of mark millar work I did not like most of his comics superior was ok but didn’t get the final 2 issues supercrooks was also ok but didn’t read like a super villains comic much the rest of mark millar comics were basically pitches for movies

the series is something a 15 year old teen who really into most modern manga/anime would think of

If I ever make an anime Club, I’d make a small questionaire first because “liking anime” isn’t really a good reason to join.

And y’know what’s REALLY funny? Toonami also has Parasyte, which is an ACTUAL GOOD show, and both it and Akame ga Kill are owned by the same dubbing comapny, AND if you compare the quality of both shows’ dubs, you’ll notice a HUGE quality difference.

I was in an anime club in high school, there were like 6 students there, but we had enough fun as it was
 
We watched the movie Appleseed, and that gave us some pretty good riffing material honestly.

i joined one of those in my last year of high school…all they watched was the sub of sao so me and two other girls started riffing the shit out of it and it was awesome.
