Ok i completely understand how the second GIF is a pretty good representation on how bad Izzy can be in TYT, but i still find her being distracted by literal key jiggling to be really funny

She’s the only one that rivals Hitch’s drop to me. Might even be more-so, since Izzy was one of my favorite things about the movie.

My own lowlights for Pinkie would be “A Trivial Pursuit” and “Yakity-sax”, which are some of my least favorite episodes of FiM as a whole. It doesn’t help that TYT Izzy commonly reminds me of Pinkie in those eps :[

To be sort of fair to “Nightmare Roommate”, it was Izzy’s as well as the other girls first time sharing a home so it’s understandable there’d be some issues with boundaries and the sort(Though she could of done without using Sunny’s toothbrush to clean her ears, yuck!). I think “Dumpster Diving” was the low point for her in TYT since besides gleefully jumping into said dumpster(I feel sorry for the others having to wash all that garbage stank off of her afterwards.) she also outright attacked Posey for her loop earrings with the intent of stealing them just to fix Sunny’s lantern.

Eh idc ab eps with her being annoying as that’s just how people can be sometimes. What bothers me is that in tyt she’s just pinkie

It’s not just Dumpster Diving that has made bronies upset with how Izzy has been portrayed, it’s also episodes like Secret Ad-Mare-er, Snow Pun Intended, Sneaksy Strikes Again, and even earlier episodes like Nightmare Roommate that don’t portray Izzy in a very positive light that more often than not portray her as reckless at best and a nuisance at worst.

And as you may have guessed, this is probably what may have caused some to call Izzy a “Pinkie Pie 2.0” considering that the pink horse the character was inspired by also had the same writing flaws as far back as S1 with her worst instance being in S4 which caused the whole #Pinkiegate drama back in 2014.

Opposite of Hitch, I’d actually give Pipp “most improved” from movie to series.
(I suppose it helps that movie Hitch was at his best, and movie Pipp was at her worst)

I’d be interested to see a more recent Mane 5/6 poll. Pipp was almost consistently last in polls made before TYT/MYM.

Plus her constantly fucking over Bridlewood (even by accident) is funny. fuck bridlewood

I mean I think a problem is precisely the fact that this is one of TYT izzy’s next contents, the first impression is something that lasts too, there wasn’t any big moment that made fans like her in tyt compared to the rest of the mane five

I honestly wish Dragon Dad Hitch and TYT Izzy could just be given a break already. One of Hitch’s most heroic moments in all of G5 wouldn’t have worked without Sparky, since he wouldn’t have had a baby dragon to save in MYM’s Missing the Mark. As for TYT Izzy…

…it’s been how long since Dumpster Diving aired, again? Are fans really still mad at her for something she did back when Misty wasn’t even in the series? That saying, “People always remember you for the bad, never the good.”, is sadly accurate… :(

I’d give it a yay.

By the time the first act of A New Generation rolled around, his personal growth had plateaued. He got taken the furthest out of his comfort zone, and he handled it like a champ. Plus, the single dad representation was great.

Milkyway’s reaction makes me think there’s more to the story than “she was convinced to reverse the wish”.

Err kinda? We don’t really know the extent, but her putting complete reality rewrite as long as it’s in the context of a wish is pretty insane.
Discord is chaos for chaos sake. While milkyway and other nymphs while yes do enjoy the chaos, the purpose is to make a change in the wisher / fulfill the wish

In the minority here saying yay. I honestly think his personality in MYM/TYT is sweet but I do wish ponies respected him as much as they did in the movie along with him having a stronger presence.

I feel like they probably softened his personality a lot to make him more likeable funny enough. My assumption is that having the token male character of the group be the cocky and tough one would make him less appealing than he already is being the only male character. Male characters were never the popular ones in MLP, so my guess is that they made Hitch more of a doormat character in the series so he can be more appealing.

It’s all up to personal preference really. I’ve seen a good amount of people prefer MYM/TYT Hitch and a good amount like ANG Hitch more 🤷‍♂️

Much like how Izzy went from a jovial innocent naïve unicorn with a love for creativity that just wanted friends to a reckless horsehousing provoketeur that swims in garbage and creates things out literal junk or stuff she steals from other ponies as well as vandalism.
