America might be struggling from mass transportation problems, meanwhile here were problematic about the shitload amount of cars thatโs causing block by block traffic everywhere in Manila 24/7. And thatโs because each and every single person owns a car and probably owns more than one. The population congestion rate here is inconceivably high in global scale, then so are our cars, many cars means running out of parking space. Thatโs why people here get mad if their cars parked right in front of their house get clamped when itโs parked on the side of the road and these angry people rant about their cars getting towed because their ail is โEY THIS WAS PARKED ON MY SIDE OF THE HOUSE SO MY SPACE, MY RULES!โ but still, parking on the side of the road is illegal.
What truly ails this city is they do not expand the land area of the Metropolis (except those reclaimed landfills by the sea) or develop other towns to become a highly urbanized city to decongest the entirety of Manila itself.
I used to vent that this country needed to regulate all the amount of people buying cars in a single city so that they could use public transport to decongest the whole city.
