Alright, I guess I’ll be a little less subtle with what I mean.
Basically it’s a prequel to Bittersweet, a story where Pinkie dies of diabetes… Yeah, that’s apparently what happened in that story in a show about magical horses. Sort of does sound silly when you think about it, especially if they can magically cure something like that. This story I’m thinking of might explore some different routes, especially since in one episode, the lack of Pinkie Pie was enough to get the town to squabble amongst themselves.

Ah… Well… See… I had the idea fleshed out in my head.
Basically, what I’m thinking is that after this scene happens, Pinkie begins to binge on cookies. Cue Rainbow Dash trying to stop her.

I had this idea at work today, and I think I’m actually going to attempt it.Essentially I want to use pony to parody Lovecraft, because much as I love HPL a lot of his stuff is goddamn hilarious in hindsight.My ideas so far:
The Shadow Out of Twi: Twilight gets awakens with no memory of the past six months, and goes around trying to piece together the Horrible Truth(tm). Eventually she discovers that she was body switched with one of the Great Race of Yith who was running around in her body chronicling pony society, history and magic. Unlike in the original story, no one close to her really noticed a difference to the point where they unintentionally taught a pre-historic time travelling space monster the magic of friendship. On top of this Twilight learns that her memory of her time with the Yith was wiped and she was sent back because she drove her captors crazy.Shadows Over Pony Pun for Innsmouth: Essentially a straight play on Shadows Over Innsmouth, with Lyra going to the town and discovering the terrible secret. Most of the humor I think would come from the sea-ponies being totally harmless, but everyone acting like they’re terrifying.As I delve back into Lovecraft’s work I’ll probably come up with more.
