They stowed away on an imperial transport headed to Tattooine.
Once it landed, they decided to celebrate by getting drunk. Unfortunately, they’re violent drunks and get rowdy quickly.
Evasan’s nose didn’t always look like that, it’s from a past barfight.

I disagree.
Choreo in Mando actually wasn’t bad. Season 2 had some decent melee fight scenes.

This here with AHSOKA SPOILER ALERT Ezra fighting empty handed with Force Powers alone was just straight cheeks. I dunno if the choreo team was on strike or Didney scrubbed them for some AI-choreo-generator or somehing.

EU also had pyromancy, it was powerful as lighting but way harder to control.

Avatar (and most shounen anime) integrates the kung fu with spellcasting, so you see the usual combat dance and effects flying everywhere. In Star Wars meanwhile, Saber duels seems to be where the melee combat is most exciting so you kinda need to write around that.

If only Force Users fight like Jujutsu Sorcerers…but then again The Force isn’t a power system you build your fights around, unlike Naruto’s Chakra or JJK’s Curse Energy or HxH’s Nen.

The Force works sort of like the magic or higher power, but not a hard magic system with strict rules and restrictions the way science in sci-fi would be, but rather a plot device to insert supernatural rule-bending stuff where necessary.

case in point: The famous “Use The Force, Luke” scene. Some dead guy spoke through an unknown mechanism, telling a kid to “do something” but we the audience were about as clueless as all the other guys asking Luke why he decided to eyeball his shot.

Lighting powers beat lightsabers ten times out of ten. Okay listen you see it get deflected by lightsabers a lot but I feel like that’s due to plot armor, to make sabers be relevant AND visually more appealing.

having two masters who’s far beyond the need for sabers duel, would look like a fight between two dudes standing there casting spells at each other, meaning the battle will most likely take place in a level above physical combat. Force Lighting and Force Crush, two of the most lethal techs in a Force User arsenal? the user just waves an arm. It looks kinda boring.

Nah the Emperor had surpassed the need for a lightsaber the Sith as a whole like to believe that and just kept up using them to fuck with the Jedi.

As far as that ROTS moment goes I always assumed Palpatine sensed Anakin coming and threw that fight with Mace as a calculated risk to force Anakin to choses.

What if Emperor Palpatine tried to kill Luke with one of the lightsabers he keeps up his sleeve instead of shocking him to death with Force Lightning?

I know he didn’t like lightsabers very much, but it’s still an effective tool, and Sheev is quite skilled with a blade. (Being an Emperor who successfully overthrew a Republic, he should’ve known when to stop fucking around and get the job done.) He easily defeated every Jedi that crossed blades with him, except for Mace Windu and Yoda. (Mace was about to kill Sheev, until Anakin stepped in. And Yoda put up quite a fight against the Emperor in the main Senate chamber.)

Even if Luke had caught wind of it and hurriedly picked back up his saber to fight back, the Emperor would’ve easily beat Luke with all his skill and experience…unless Luke gave into even more fear and anger.
