I think the Hurricane is going to replace most V8s for Dodge and Ram. They’ll likely keep a V8 for the Hellcat and TRX if they’re not discontinued. Then there is that Dodge electric car coming up. We could see a healthy variety of engine options in the future.

The Hurricane does sound like a sweet engine. A twin turbo inline six with over 400 horsepower standard is nothing to complain about. I hope Dodge gives the Challlenger/Charger a lighter platform and offers them with that engine.

If angry driving is called road rage, then an angry driving with flying cars in the future would be called… sky rage. 😏

Info about Dodge/Jeep’s new 3.0 engine Towing figures for the new engine in the Jeep Grand Wagoneer is up to 9,800lb with 4WD and 10,000 with 2WD models. So it’s plenty potent.

Yeah, I can agree with that. More wagon-ish SUVs like the Cullinan and Lincoln Aviator look much better than aggressively styled blobs.

Lotus should at least design it like Rolls-Royce designed their first SUV: as a careful “large wagon” rather than a real SUV.

Lotus making an electric SUV was unfortunately not an April Fool’s joke. Looks like a Lamborghini Urus collided with a Nissan Murano.

I get that selling SUVs has worked out well for Porsche and Lotus needs some kind of volume model for markets that are increasingly unfriendly to ICE, but it’s hard to get farther from the Lotus ethos of lightweight, nimble sports cars than an electric SUV.

They’re interesting. 2017 Raptors come standard with those. But they don’t really do much besides act as something to play around with when bored

Any thoughts on color changing lights? I just put some in my dashboard and they work rather well and I’m considering doing the entire interior now.

Have you seen the Alfa Romeo Tonale (I keep reading the name as Toenail)? Damn thing’s based on a Jeep Compass. A subcompact SUV isn’t going to help Alfa.

Most people don’t even know Alfa Romeo exists because they don’t advertise. They have a sparse dealer network and though I believe their more recent vehicles are more reliable, they haven’t done anything to counter their shoddy reputation. The way Stellantis is handling Alfa Romeo, they’re going to leave the North American market again and that will be a real shame because Alfa is one of the few brands trying to make attractive vehicles that are a joy to drive.

I have no idea. Power is probably somehow getting jumped between pins in a way that it isn’t supposed to be, so it has constant current, and I guess the turn signal switch interrupts between the flasher and the bulbs.

Acura Integra first look. So, an “enthusiast” CVT car, and the manual is only available with the top-end trim. Weird…

It will be close, I bet the USA version will be pricier too since it’s going to be a long wheelbase with 3 rows of seats.

Aight so I need a bit of help. I just replaced my turn signal relay in my Tacoma and now it’s clicking all the time like my blinker is on even when it’s not. I’ve replaced the relay multiple times now. Anyone know what the issue could be?

Good hearing an update. I wasn’t aware that synthetic Diesel fuel is available, but I live in the rear end of nowhere, Pennsylvania.

B20’s less energy dense, but it should also clean the engine better.

I’m gonna also take a moment to remind people that the Renewable Lubricants Company exists, and their oils are all vegetable oil based. They’re based in Ohio.

There were some other companies that made oil based in Vegetable Oil, or Beef Tallow, but I’m not sure if they’re still around? One was “G Oil,” the other was the perhaps ridiculously long “Go Green Smokeless Oil” who re-located from Texas to Australia.

Basically all of the companies co-ordnate their prices and right now they raised them because “they anticipate oil getting more expensive”
