Are you sincerely trying to say that anyone who likes the Season 6 finale automatically hates the Mane 6? WTF? How are those two things even correlated?

Aside the fact that I still don’t think the episode was awful enough to be in my top 15 of worst eps, even after I realized the continuity error… why don’t you just pretend it never happened? I pretty much did the same with Non-Compete Clause. You can do the same for this one too.

The weakest episode of the season is still unquestionably Uprooted, for me personally. And I say that as someone who’s watched the early releases.
 
I did enjoy this episode.

Yeah, this makes you think why Celestia kept the “it was all a training” as a secret, even when Twilight will do anything for her mentor. Its not like Twilight will refuse to be the “Chosen One” from the start.

Celestia got away with doing that with Twilight because of her absolute and blind loyalty.
 
Not everyone can be manipulated in such a way, either because they despise the subterfuge and can cut right through it (Applejack) or because they’re all too used to doing it themselves (Rarity). Then you have those that will comply but will then see the outcome as a betrayal, which I’d expect RD to show eventually.
 
No matter the end result, there will always be an element of deception involved with engineering a situation just for the sake of teaching a lesson. Celestia knew it would be mitigated by her hyper-loyal puppet, Twilight doesn’t have this knowledge, which leads me to think she’ll have plenty of backlash coming her way if she’s to keep doing that.

So, I remembered this was not the first time that Twilight tricks ponies to do frienship lessons

It does have its redeeming qualities, buy it’s easily the weakest episode of the season. Even by reading the synopsis I could tell that it was gonna be the worst episode of the season considering that all the seasons have their own episodes that can be considered the worst.

I wouldn’t call it an issue, wanting others to cheer for you isn’t the same as being tasked with coaching cheerleading.

Edit: I take back my previous statement. I just realized there’s a BIG continuity issue in episode 15: Rainbow Dash DID consider Cheerleading (or at least Cheering) important in past eps (see Sonic Rainboom and parental Glideance) so it doesn’t make sense she doesn’t care of it now….
 
Welp, I’m degrading it from decent to mediocre. First dud of the season (hopefully the only one. Thankfully up to ep 20 there wasn’t any other one hoping that non of the few normal eps left before the finale is a failure as well…)

Am I who didn’t find 2,4,6,Greeeat to be THAT bad? I mean I can agree it was the weakest of the season (this including the eps up to 20 that I watched with the early releases), but frankly, I think.we had much MUCH worse eps than this one (Like the Mysterious Mare do Well, Newbie Dash, The Cart Before the Ponies and most especially Non-Compete Clause). I feel people are a bit overexagerrating it, when we’ve been throught much worse than this…

Honestly, I don’t think we’ve seen too much of them the past few seasons.  
I feel we’ve seen Derpy more then them.

I said it in the ep discussion thread, but I really really detest Snips and Snails, especially Snails. He looks and sounds actually retarded, and though I don’t mind dopey characters like that in one-offs, having the both of them be consistent characters is aggravating. They are not appealing or entertaining and I’m pretty sure the writers initially intended them to be one-off joke characters, but somebody higher up decided it was a good idea to script them into the last two seasons. Ugh.

None of the people who they hate are here, and they won’t stop long enough to look to see that everyone here generally likes or actually loves the show.
 
They just want to get into a fight with someone. And the people they should be fighting with aren’t on this site.

If we were boycotting the Mane 6 then we are doing a REALLY BAD job of boycotting them.

I never said anything about me being unhappy that the finale is focusing on the Mane Six. My biggest concern is rather the fate of Celestia and Luna in which I have two friends who are gonna disown Season 9 if the Royal Sisters are killed off in any fashion.

Just let the guy use this thread to vent out. At least that way it will be contained in here.

I never said that I hated the Mane 6 like at all, even in those moments where I quote on quote “didn’t like how they were shown”, which I honestly don’t remember so maybe you’re just putting words into my mouth. With that said, I do love the mane 6, I always have, it’s that I prefer other characters more like Starlight, Trixie and Spike. So really, your just throwing around accusations that aren’t grounded in reality and just stewing in your own paranoia.
 
I tried to help you before but it seems like you’re a lost cause so I hope you quit he Internet for good and get help, cause you really need it.

As I said I have not seen ONE person on this site that hates all 6 main characters. I’ve seen some hate one, or two, but still love the others.
 
Even Red likes the Mane 6 though, (or most of them, at least) and can you please stop accusing everybody of hating them? Disliking a few episodes, doesn’t mean they dislike the characters. It’s an unfair accusation/generalization.
 
Heck, I could easily accuse you of hating Starlight, Discord, Trixie, and Thorax, because of your hate of the S6 finale, even though you said you like them, is that fair?

Ugh… Nobody, (at least on this site) is boycotting the Mane 6. If everyone here hated them like you claimed, there wouldn’t be literally hundreds of images & fanart of them uploaded here every… single… day…
