Yes, Chrysler the brand. The old American brand that is almost dead now. I don’t see them having much of a future if things continue the way they are.

@SeraphimDawn
I can’t remember ever seeing a Fiat on the road and I’ve seen some relatively rare cars like a CTS wagon, Ferrari, Polaris Slingshot, Jaguar XF, and a couple Rolls Royces.

Well, it is still a 500, so it is a tiny little Euro car. It’s just a fun one that likes to make racecar noises. The easy way to spot the difference between the Abarth and the regular ones is the scorpion badge in place of the Fiat one. There’s usually a big Abarth sticker/stripe down the side too, but I guess that’s an option.

The 500X and 500L are a little different platform than the regular 500; it’s the on the “mini” platform, while the L and X are the “small US wide” (and so is the Jeep Renegade).

The Soul is one of those cars that I’m not particularly interested in owning myself, but I will never say a thing against it. It’s very affordable, does its job well, and even though there are hundreds of the things on the road, they’re good looking enough and come in interesting enough colors that they never get monotonous to look at. It almost reminds me of what the original Beetle was in its day.

Kia’s supposed to be coming out with a 200-ish HP turbo version soon, too, so that one ought to make a zippy little runaround.

Funny thing is. The Abarth looks a lot like one of those tiny cars Europeans drive around cramped city streets like bicycles.

Didn’t Fiat also come out with the 500L MPV and 500X crossovers based on similar platforms? It’s almost like those Mini Coopers.

Speaking of MPVs, the Kia Soul appears to have a cult status. It’s like Kia’s best seller, and one of their most iconic models in their line up.
There’s even a fandom for it

Heh, I know what you’re saying, but that’s not the economy version, that’s the Abarth, the screwy little hot hatch that somehow gets away with having no muffler. I’ve heard they’re loads of fun, and their exhaust note is amazing.

Maybe the 124 just isn’t common yet because it’s relatively new? They’ve only been around since the 2016 model year, so it could be they just haven’t caught on yet.

Hopefully they do start showing up more, though. Also, Fiat should sell something like this one:

As in Chrysler the brand? I don’t know, they seem kind of pointless at the moment. Dodge covers normal cars and attainable American-style performance, Fiat has compacts and a reskinned Miata, Jeep does any sort of SUV you could want, and assuming Alfa gets off the ground, they’ll take care of luxury and Euro-style performance. Maybe Chrysler can build off the 300 and do multiple semi-luxury cars?

Looks like they have their own, but not many. If they’re smart, FCA ought to add Alfa to major existing dealerships the way they’ve done with Fiat. Otherwise they’re shooting themselves in the feet in regards to any kind of sales volume.

Speaking of FCA, does Alfa Romeo have its own dealerships or do they share space with Fiat and Chrysler? Alfa’s commercials were the best car ads in the Super Bowl but anyone who wants to check out Alfa Romeo may be frustrated by their very sparse dealership network.

FCA is being pretty good with making Jeep people feel like a family O|||||||O

oh the sales for the Grand Caravan were higher than Pacifica? that’s hilarious, since the Grand Caravan is going away. Kia’s minivan is too boxy I guess. it is confused (much like the Chevy Uplander)

I think my favorite FCA Easter egg (that I’ve seen) is the Jerry can taillights on the Renegade.

Not sure what the point is of the Lego/Chevy commercials, but at least they’re funny, and standalone commercials. The BvS Renegade scene annoys me because it was such an obvious commercial in the movie itself, to the point that it kind of broke my suspension of disbelief really early in the movie.

The Pacifica looks like a magnificent van.
Probably one of the few in its class. A luxury minivan, and American.
Honda Odyssey and Dodge Caravan appear to be top runners in sales in that segment. Mazda recently discontinued their Mazda 5.

Nobody seems t notice Kia’s vans, the Sedonna and the smaller Rondo.

I like FCA’s easter eggs! They’re dumb but charming. I’m slightly disturbed by the “Ciau baby!” With a spider in the gas door

On a side note, the best easter egg is in the Pacifica with the little minivan time line in between the two front seats. :)

The worst product placement for batman was that dumb Chevy commercial with the Legos. Didn’t do anything worth advertising…

Jeep purists hate it for not being the Wrangler, but for the 99% of the population that isn’t planning on rock crawling in Moab, it’s a solid little off-roader/daily driver. Plus, all the little Easter egg design details are pretty fun, too. (Still not an appropriate car for Batman, though, and that was a terribly executed bit of product placement.)
