I think that’s a believable plan, it would be great to see a Chevy wagon to go along with the Colorado ZR2 in terms of off-road prowess.

The Avista could have been a great way to make US buyers give the brand a second look. The Avenir would have been good too but they reduced that to a trim level.

Chances are that if Buick brings a wagon to America it will be lifted and have plastic cladding like the VW Alltrack, Subaru Outback, Audi Allroad, etc. If, however, Buick keeps the wagon like that pictured Opel and offers it with a stout engine and AWD at a reasonable price, I’ll give it a look. If the quality is there it doesn’t matter to me if the brand’s average customer is twice my age.

the wagon would look sexy as heck with a Buick logo. the body lines look almost like an SUV… I wish it would be made in the USA, then I’d be truly wishing for one

Supposedly GM is just going to swap the Opel logo for the Buick logo, and the Insignia becomes the 2018 Regal, wagon and all. Now if they’ll just bring the turbo manual AWD version, and I’ll seriously want a Buick, which feels very weird to say.

People seem to know the egg-shaped Toyota Previa from Rugrats as the vehicle that was driven by Angelica’s mom.  
Come to think of it, a lot of vehicles made in the second half of the 90s and the beginning of 2000s looked like eggs.

How can they update its appearance for 2017?
 
-Raise the rear a little  
-Make the cabin sharper  
-Give the front more aggressive looking head lamps with LED  
-Increase the diameter of the wheels and intricate alloy rims to give it a sporty look.

The 300m isn’t bad looking, but once you lose the Concorde’s big grille it gets a little too generic for my taste.

The first time I saw an “egg van” as a kid, it kind of blew my mind; I’d known it from the Rugrats cartoon and never thought it could be real.
 
That Concorde might be the best looking late ’90s mass market car. Chrysler ought to bring that look back for a car to succeed the 200.

That teasing was just infuriating. They could have easily differentiated it from the Camaro, too. Just give it a nicer interior, drop the V-8s and replace them with high-output twin-turbo V-6s or maybe even a twincharged V-6, and you’ve got a 21st century Grand National. At least the front end styling will be making it to production:

Buick feels like a boring brand right now.

 
Why would a company build a concept car they have no intention of using anything from? The Avista is the only Buick I’ve ever been interested in besides the old Roadmaster wagon, it got an overwhelmingly positive response, and GM was like “Made you look!”
 
I think I can guess the reason why the Avista was dead on arrival. GM doesn’t want another competitor to the Camaro and ATS-V coupe. The ATS-V I can understand but who would cross-shop a Camaro with a Buick?

I would like a Chrysler Cirrus.

Oh, a Chevy in black. yep, it is so good to see someone appreciates the nice cars of the 90s. I’ve seen one of those Berettas, it was very much rusted

The Lamborghini Countach is the most 80s car I can think of.
