Congratulations to Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar for their second, first and second number ones respectively with “Like What”. Future’s second after “Wait For U”, Metro Boomin’s first ever number one hit and Kendrick’s second after “Humble”. For a diss track, it goes hard.

I’ve heard parts of it but never had time to listen to the whole thing in one sitting. Maybe if it was only an hour or two long instead of six hours I would have heard it all at once. I’m not concerned about that album breaking me, although from what I’ve heard, it makes Pink Floyd, King Crimson, and Van Der Graaf Generator’s darkest music all look like the most fun and happy music ever recorded in comparison.

Congratulations to Teddy Swims for his first ever number one hit with “Lose Control”. The first soul song to hit number one since “No One” by Alicia Keys back in 2007, I’m glad that new, up and coming artists can still get a chance to score a really big hit.

REO definitely look their age but still sound great. Take it on the Run sounded fantastic, and they belted out something from every era.

Rick actually put on a damn good show, many roses were splashed, and he actually had a pretty candid discussion about depression before transitioning into World Start Turning.

The opening band I’d never heard before, Dauzat St. Marie. Honestly? Pretty dang good, I bought the LP on my way out. They played some orginal stuff, and then did a dang good cover of Laupers “Time After Time”

Has anyone ever managed to listen to all of Everywhere at the End of Time? Like everyone seems to know the first one but skipping around through the parts to the end, it just seems too heartbreaking and horrific. I can’t even imagine listening to this amnesia allegory for six freaking hours.
