The real Grogar was responsible for Nightmare Moon coming back. He was biding his time and used a spell. No one figured out he was the one.

He also partially influenced Opaline to doing what she did.

Pegasi are the Prussians of ponies.

They are still quite militaristic and have sometimes tried to incite wars with other nationd. Cloudsdale sometimes tried to take over Canterlot’s position as capital in the past.

They are also often the best commanders of Equestria’s army.

Despite their hostility, pegasi and dragons both have a mutual respect for each other for their warrior like ways. Some even have called Pegasi, “Furry Dragons” both as a compliment and insult.

Rarity is also an amateur painter, architect and even has tried to make her own indie game.

While not as well versed as Twilight, she knows a good amount about chemistry and is sort of an inventor in order to make new fabrics.

It is confirmed…………Twilight probably slacked off during her first writen reports. She only started writing them off manually (well, with either mouth or telekinesis anyway) when Celestia caught up with her tricks.

Lyra in addition to being what she calls an “anthro-pologist” is also a part of the Flat Earth Society and runs a magazine revealing the truth that Canterlot covers up.

Rarity has a nickel allergy.

She probably hated being involved with imaginary debates that went nowhere.
She probably would have found Quibble and Dash’s arguing pointless, even if she might do have her own opinions on the matter.
And considering how dismissive she was of a lot of people on S1, it’s clear she always felt apart from others and their uncreative imagination (yeah, imagination might not always assure to be creative.)

Also, some people think she was being hypocritical with her competitiveness in “A Trivial Matter” when she chastised Dash and AJ in “Non Compete Clause”. But maybe that’s not the case: the trivia trot contest is effectively a contest and she was playing in a controlled environment, whereas Dash and AJ were competing in a dangerous environment while ignoring the real dangers involved and honestly the “teacher of the month” is a rather pointless achievement since it’s never implied it assures a promotion or more payment. Trivial trot is not the greatest achievement either but at least being an open competition with more clear measurable parameters means you can actually feel proud of it.

I like to think this also seperated her from other nerds back in school. She always hated how they bragged about their intelligence and distanced herself from them.

Moondancer on the other hoof, always got into these arguments, to the point she forgets her current project to Twilight’s dismay.

Despite being a nerd herself, Twilight hates some of the most typical nerd discussions. To her, they’re equally as dumb as RD and AJ’s behavior in Non-Compete Clauses most of the time, specially since there’s never a real prize or real accomplishment involved. (She can make fun banters but hate when people have nasty attitudes.)

Sunburst is a fan of them though, eventually causing a fallout.

The apple family is more extroverted while the pear family is more introverted.

Apples are known to be loud and rowdy while Pears are known to be more quiet and thoughtful. This even shows in their ballads. Apples love a fun jig to have a fun time while Pears’ songs are more slow.
