Or maybe they do and it isn’t enough, especially considering politicians continually try to reduce the funding for the programs  
And didn’t you know that a lot of people on welfare are full time workers with minimal pay and even then, they are still barely keeping their heads above the water  
Imagine being unemployed or part time, your standard of living will still be pretty bad
 
Oh yeah, Maybe they can’t access welfare programs due to dietary restrictions, bureaucracy, debt, lack of information by the state, education etc.  
I know an poor American who can’t get food stamps due to her dietary restrictions

Yeah it kinda is your fault if you’re in a shitty position and do nothing to get yourself out of it except commit crimes. I guess asking for help is beyond the skill set of the poor, downtrodden blacks who can’t do anything for themselves.  

 
Are we still talking about america? Are we just going to continue to ignore that there are plenty of social programs and financial aid available for those living in poverty? This isn’t rocket science, folks. America is the land of opportunity, aint nobody going to sit here and spoonfeed you solutions you have to seek them out. It’s OK to need extra help but you have to seek it out, going around stealing shit isn’t a solution. You treat these people like they are just incapable of doing anything for themselves, it’s frankly absurd.
 
Food-stamps, welfare if you have to take care of your kids, WIC for help to feed your kids, cash assistance, section 8 housing, medicaid, social security, disability ALL THESE PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE IT’S NOBODIES FAULT BUT THEIR OWN THEY AREN’T USING THEM. And again BEING POOR ISN’T AN EXCUSE FOR COMMUTING CRIMES.
