Well, maybe it’s because of a certain footage that has not been released to the general public.

InfoWars claimed and continues to claim that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax.

It’s hilarious to rational, level headed people. But there are people that take what Infowars say seriously. CNN certainly has flaws but they’re no where near as bad of a source of information as Infowars.

In the United States of America, public utilities are regulated and have public oversight, even if they are privately owned, so the public’s interest is represented.
 
That’s not the same as a private commercial monopoly, where the board directs the actions of the company in private.
 
Cable companies are not a utility in the United States of America, and they are an entirely different kettle of fish.

I think it’s kind of weird that the federal government, itself a monopoly over a certain geographic landmass, would have laws that prevent monopolies, while state and local governments get to grant regional monopolies (especially for cable and power companies).

An AI is a product of humans, a simulacrum of themselves, but it is not the originals and can only understand humanity insofar as humans dictated it to understand, so what it can understand is of small size, for if it truly was to understand all humans, then it must be dictated by all humans; however, this is impossible because humans reproduce and die, but even if one could stop age and birth and find immortality, the one obstacle against the AI’s total understanding is everything else that changes humans and the AI, the environment and the particles that make up things, which switch spins, dilate time, etc., and thus cause, with respect to humans, mutations in the genes and, with respect to the AI, the oxidations of metals, so one would have to remove time, to prevent change, to repeat a process, to replace the simulacrum capitalism with a purer hyperreal, to form a world within which an AI can understand all humans–a dead world.

But there’s a lot of people who believe what Infowars says too, not as many as CNN, but they’re still out there. And despite the lower viewership, Infowars can be even more dangerous than CNN due to the high level of pseudo-science and conspiracy theories that they push.

I don’t really feel too sorry for CNN either, they helped push for the Iraq war back in 2003. But it’s not so much about whether I like CNN so much as it is about the president trying to crack down on free speech, IF he actually is doing this to punish CNN that is, but I’m not certain that that’s the case.

Department of Justice is involved in anti-Trust activities. The concern among those actually in the discussion and not spectators to another round of spectacle is that Trump’s combative and known relationship with the media - CNN included - could play a part in the process or was in some way behind the snub Time Warner should drop CNN in order to pick up more properties.

I think it’s more they know without Time warner CNN will crumble.
