Dude, I’m 27 and am still stuck with my parents. I have a lousy job, no GF, no future, my album still isn’t finish, and the only thing preventing me from giving up is that I know there are people out there who would be upset if I did. I know that feeling. But ya gotta keep powering through. I think you’ll achieve something. Alan Rickman didn’t get a movie role until he was 42, after all.

Dunno, I’ve heard a lot of people speak as if pessimism and realism are interchangeable, speak of the worst possible outcomes and then say “I’m just being realistic.”

Look at Coraline, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Kubo and the Two Strings, Chicken Run, Frankenweenie, or the Wallace and Gromit series. All of those are stop motion and for the most part are very smoothly done.

And that’s another thing. The fact that whenever we give constructive criticism on how to change or improve your behavior, your first response is always “So you hate me.” But if you keep using that as a response to everything and jumping to that conclusion any time someone disagrees with you… I mean, bro, it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Indeed. I know that from years of making brickfilms as a kid. Hell, look at stuff from Laika or Aardman. With some of those, the animation is so good that you forget you’re looking at clay models.

You know what doesn’t get enough love? Stop-motion animation.

It feels like stop-motion never gets the same amount of love as hand-drawn/2D animation or CGI. I’ve even seen some people call it creepy. I don’t understand why.

You don’t need to. Because everyone with a brain knows that the “If you date any adult who looks petite/young/is under a certain height, you’re a pedophile” take is stupid, and anyone who spouts that take is doing so in bad faith.

And the reason you don’t get any responses is because many of us are tired of you freaking out over minuscule things like this that don’t actually matter that much in the real world, and tired of you arguing against us when we point out the illogic of your statements, so we have stopped responding for your sake and ours. Hell, I was hoping with the new year, you might resolve to change yourself for the better, but you keep getting sucked down this rabbit hole and it’s clear you will never learn. Your hypothetical scenarios are akin to “What if the world was made of pudding?” They’re so implausible that even the idea of them happening for real is utterly ridiculous.

Please grow and mature as a person.
