I actually tried to make it sound that the last one was more of the changelings have to leave their old life behind.
And the part where they have to protect the country from anything even their own kind is a law that must be followed by any Equestrian, changeling or not.
-The Changeling Infiltrator is the highest rank any ordinary changeling can achieve. Their job is to infiltrate, take over and gain intel from any village, town etc. When they are discovered, Changeling Soldiers will aid them in battle.
-It is forbidden for changelings to love other changelings. The price is treason.
-If a changeling is to love another being that is not a changeling, that changeling has a 50/50 chance of having that love to fill the holes in their body, slowly turning them into mortal alicorn-like beings. The other 50 is that they will slowly die, leaving only husks of their body behind.
-Love, even though feeds changelings, may also kill them if turned into a concentrated liquid form.
-Changelings shed their chitin armour once every year, and it takes 5 days till their new armour grows. Until then, they are quite vulnerable.
