I’ve been thinking these past few weeks about… well a clopfic I wish to write. Would of done it sooner but I REALLY don’t want to end up being considered yet another “Shitty OC X OC” writers that plague the internet, it’ll be my first, I know.  
before anyone says it: Yes I know, I know I shouldn’t expect to make the very best, I just want to do my best….  
Anyway, enough dialouge:  
TRIGGER WARNINGS: SEX, FOALCON?, INCEST, STALLION PROSTITUION and anything else I might think of
 
Idea #1: In this universe, Mares outnumber Stallions by a 6:1 margin. That number doesn’t also include who’s straight, who’s looking for some love, Etc.(I was inspired by something kind of like Fall of Equestria, only I wish to reverse the role, technically, and make it 100% consensual).  
Idea #2: Prostitution, though it should and sort of is looked down upon as bad, that doesn’t stop many lonely mares from making a few calls to the places that specialize in “satisfaction”.  
Idea #3: The main Character will be an Older brother of one younger sister (or brother, whatever you may suggest), Good wings is his name (nickname him: G), 22, Who always has his cutie mark covered because of it’s vulgarity. He is a well-payed insincere lover. It comes at a heavy cost though, as his “Job” requires him to be in and “in” for up to 15 hours a day, 7 days a week, if he’s unlucky. (he’ll be unlucky very much).  
Idea #4: contrary to what you may think, I’m going to write as minimally and vaguely as possible about his clients and focus on his “Sugar mama” and occasionally, co-workers, the people around him who aren’t usual clients and his younger sibling.  
This is what I have now. Too cliché, too contrived? too soon to tell?

It’s about the news that Hasbro and Discovery are ending their partnership with Hub. I’m not annoyed by the action, but let’s just say that people are getting a little bit… eh… too “drama heavy” on the whole situation. I’ve seen 3 negative posts about the event and I only two of them are rightfully getting dislikes. And for good reason; the uploaders are being annoying and I think slowly turning into OP ducks. And another thing, Keep this away from Soundtea. (Really, I… I’m super serious here…)

Now I am of the camp that a person’s gender/sexuality and what have you are important to their character. Since it affects how they are viewed it cannot be an incidental detail.
 
Now I think one basic rule is to follow the words of Julius Evola. Not a good man personally but a good philosopher.
 
For women:

In Evola’s philosophy, to be feminine is to dedicate yourself selflessly to an external cause; masculinity is pure virility – as in the action of the warrior or the pure detachment of the ascetic.
 
And while he takes this to an extreme position I do think the underlying principle is important.  
The most pervasive and innate views of gender humans have are: Men overcome, women nurture.  
This is why female characters with motherly traits (like Ripley, the best female action hero) resonate much more strongly than a generic badass action heroine.  
Or with men why James Bond and Indiana Jones became so iconic.

So I’m going to be writing a fic with my editor, and it will include some rather NSFW content, but I need to work out Tara Strong’s OC’s name. I’ve already worked out Meghan’s (Plot Writer), but I need Tara’s. Does anyone have any ideas? Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had a link to a mostly up to date torrent (if this is okay) of the episodes with none of The Hub watermarks. I’ve been wanting to mess around with some video editing for some time but can’t bring myself to try if every second clip I use has a logo in the bottom of the corner.

Adventure fantasy that explores the … other side of the ‘game’ is back after long hiatus/retirement/funk. Lots of D&D and RPG humor with a load of action and drama.

I just had to wipe my computer. I was not able to save my pictures.
 
I had gb upon gb of mlp images, both safe and not. I would come here every day to save new pictures I liked. Despite this, I didn’t look at them very often, and most of the time, hated how it had become routine to come here.
 
Since it’s now all gone, I’m not sure whether I should leave while I can or start over. I mean, sure, I looked at pictures like once a week but I always enjoyed having the option to do so. What do you all think I should do?

Yep, Sevireth has started getting the attention they deserve, opening up to commissions and therefore getting less and less free time to work on the crufavers.  
Sev has been invaluable in the last 2 years, turning the ramblings of a madman into a cohesive image many times over and I shall always be thankful for that. Sev has said they’ll be doing at least a few more updates though they will be slowing down.
 
This means a Talent search. If you are an artist, willing to work with us to help bring the cast of the crufavers to tumblr, please send in an ask or a submission. (or reply to this topic on DB)
 
Please start any submission with the word “(artist)” as is it there in brackets to help keep them from getting lost in the asks.

I couldn’t see any existing thread for such things, but would anybody be able to tell me a good ‘pony’ version, or synonym of, ‘humane’? As in, “A really humane treatment.” I couldn’t find anything working online…

I’m in the mood for some drama, maybe some action and some F/F shipping. Can you recommend any good ones? Thank you.

I referenced the picture in what seems a respectful way as a comment on the original picture. (Initially I embedded it, then realized the safety-level jump problem, and reported my own comment–thus demonstrating that I am trying to follow the rules around here.)
 
I then created two variations on the picture, because I thought it was a funny concept. I did not go back to the original post and comment there, said nothing abusive, and did nothing abusive. I just uploaded two pictures that I thought were funny, in the same theme–i.e., did something that looks like creating a meme. A background pony also added a picture that follows the format of the meme, and I tagged all of them with a new tag so that I could follow it and others could filter it if they desired. Nobody seemed to be upset by it and I didn’t direct it at anyone in particular. I even concluded in a comment on the third picture the sentiment that there wasn’t anywhere else to take the idea, so clearly stating that I was done with the mini-meme. And yet this earned me a two-day ban for “low-effort trolling.”

If anything, the original picture is closer to trolling (“starting arguments”). My actions were not inflammatory, but rather meant to defuse what seems to be a silly debate but which some are rather emotional about. (I.e., the precise opposite of trolling.) It was not meant to provoke any response other than a slight chuckle. And since I didn’t go back to the original post and direct attention there, it was not disrupting the “normal on-topic discussion.”
 
If that’s considered trolling around here, I certainly don’t understand why. So my question, then, is, how do the mods define trolling? Are they using any kind of a definition at all, or just going on some gut feeling? Is creating several images on a theme considered trolling simply because it might upset the anti-Twilicorn faction (and if so, why is it OK for the equally silly beating-of-a-dead-horse that any alicorn drama picture will always be)?
 
And is anyone actually monitoring that “clever” e-mail account?
 
That’s my two cents on the topic. I guess that will teach me for trying to contribute any humor to this site. I’ll be sticking to my amateurish pony porn from now on.

Right. Things are dire in TSP land at the moment. I’ll cut to the chase and make this is as simple as I can.
 
I am addicted to La Choy Chow Mein Noodles.
 
Problem: They’re not sold in Europe (at non-absurd import prices), and there is no substitute product I’ve been able to find.  
Further problem: I’ve not been able to find any sort of recipe to accurately reproduce these precious noodles.
 
If someone is able to point me to a cheap way to get these things in Berlin (or very accurate simile) or a good recipe I can use to make my own, I will:
 
1. Make some vector art of what you want as best I can (max two ponies).  
or  
2. Make some permanent and unique site badge for you.
 
 
This is of course subject to my determining that your solution is acceptable.

I remember there was a feature some time ago where you could search for stuff like “twilight - futa” to only get non-futa Twilight images or “applejack + futa” to only get futa AJ images.

If you have watched the Hobbit/The Lord of The Rings you know what you’re doing. It is just ponified. If you know the characters, write the name of the character you want to be. Gandalf, Merry, Pippin etc. You also start out in the Shire.
