I agree.

The worst people (artists, etc) in this fandom are the terrible cowards and hypocrites who will do anything to save their skins, whether it means lying or being two-faced.

Literally every episode has been controversial in one way or another. If not for Pinkie Pie, Filli Vanilli might have bucked that trend.

Being controversial isn’t necessarily a bad thing…does he know about that joke of “Polsky, you get anything remotely controversial” they did at one of the cons?

 
I hate it when people cry something as controversial and get butthurt over shit. Controversial episodes is one of the reasons I like this Generation of MLP over the previous. Dave Polsky is one my favourite writers because of that. If they don’t have the mental capacity to take on the darker details and flaws, please disappear!. The last thing the world needs are more oversensitive gits.

Her biggest problem was pretty much solved in season 1 and they’ve kept her character at a level where a new conflict would feel forced or way out of left field. I mean she’s just so simple. Not even a hint of hidden depths.

I’m telling you, she needs a lesson that you can’t always be honest with your promises. Or you know, telling somepony to be honest with themselves and not be somepony they’re not to fit in.

She’s like Fluttershy to me, second verse same as the first.

That just means her character is complete. Which is good for her but bad for story telling.
 
In the theme of this season she needs a pony counterpart who honestly shares her interest.

But they’ve given up any attempts at making her her own character. Every episode she’s been in she’s had to partner up with somepony else to make the story work.
 
To be honest, she’d be better as a secondary character

I dislike how this season it’s essentially become the “Applejack and Fluttershy Show.”

I feel the writers for this show can really drop, if not just fumble the ball when it comes to big events.

I feel like i’m the only one who doesn’t like Fluttershy .-. Especially lately.

What effect? Sombra was sealed away just fine, wasn’t he? It’s not even like with other EU stuff like the Crystal Heart Spell where non-crystal ponies were affected by it, was it?
 
It’s just that these comics often will go for a story for the sake of a story without thinking about impact sometimes. Part of the reason the show takes less risk I believe is that they want to leave things open. They’re afraid to step on their own toes creatively, something I don’t think the comic is (and can’t afford to be) afraid of. That’s both good and bad for both.
 
But it certainly does contribute to the “show is the mainline, these are just fun little romps that can fit into your headcanon timeline if you try hard enough” feeling.

From the synopsis so far, it seems Sombra had a different effect on Celestia than the original, and that’s what’s changed everything.
 
I’m not so sure the mane six know each other in this AU, but that and many other questions we will have to wait for the comic for answers(or lack of them).

Okay, here’s a question: If the dark mirror universe ponies apparently embody everything that normal Equestria hates and opposites rule, why do all of the Mane Six know each other?
 
How would they get their cutie marks? And their exact same ones too, save for Cadance?
 
Why would Spike even be there, if both Celestia and Twilight are assholes now? Why is he apparently the same as normal Equestrian Spike?
 
Finally, how could Sombra have a positive impact on this generation of ponies if his evil counterpart was sealed away for 1000 years?
 
The concept of this comic is kind of confusing, I hope it answers some questions.
