LOL, nah. My dad has just struggled with grades and was kicked out of his house at an early age. I’m just hoping the same doesn’t happen for me. I don’t even know if he will; this may just be me getting too scared.

I’m seriously stressing out about my exams tomorrow. I’m afraid that I could get a B or worse in history. I’ve barely had any sleep all weekend because I’ve been studying so hard. Any suggestions? Should I sleep tonight or should I stay up and prepare for tomorrow?

Studying for finals makes me want to kill myself. I haven’t gotten any sleep all weekend.

Oh trust me, their fanbase is obnoxious. After the band released The 2nd Law, an experimental album, the fans complained and begged for a return to the band’s hard rock roots, only to change their mind at the drop of a hate when Muse released Drones and complained that Muse wasn’t releasing any experimental stuff anymore. I even had to take a short break from Muse.mu recently when it became rumored that Muse would release an acoustic album and they started bitching despite the album not having been released yet, or having any previews yet, or even being confirmed to be happening yet, and they got upset at me for pointing out their BS.
 
And I agree, Radiohead quite pretentious after OK Computer. That, and the fact that I prefer them when they’re making more rock stuff, is part of why I’ve stopped listening to them.
 
I can see where you’re coming from with Thom and Matt having similar singing voices, and it was more understandable on Muse’s first two albums, Showbiz and Origin of Symmetry. To be fair, though, both have cited Jeff Buckley as a major influence on their singing. Also, both have changed since then: a big distinguishing factor for me is that Thom Yorke’s singing style is more somber and depressing, while Matt goes for extreme hamminess.

Muse is still better than Radiohead. Though I like both, I just don’t see why all of Radiohead’s albums are so critically acclaimed while Muse is hated and called a Radiohead ripoff despite them sounding nothing alike.

I’m aware of that–the show’s entire premise is pretty much “space rock lesbians”–but really, none of the characters in the original Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue seemed fitting for the anti-marijuana subject matter. And in case you’re unaware, that was basically the plot of the original: all our favorite cartoon characters coming together to talk to us about the dangers of smoking weed, including characters like Garfield, Michelangelo, Bugs Bunny, and Daffy Duck, who are obviously stoners themselves.  

Well, I got As in three of my five classes so far. Let’s hope I can get at least one more class with an A.

Maybe it’s just me, but I do tend to get ever-so-slightly turned off by things like that. For example, I have become slightly ashamed to be a Muse fan due to how much their fanbase likes to bitch about how they will never be as good as their first two albums (and keep in mind that Muse is one of the greatest bands still playing today). I don’t know, this might just be an odd thing I have about things I want to like and their fans.

There needs to be a sequel to Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue with Mordecai and Rigby from Regular Show, Gumball Watterson, Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, one (or more) of the main characters from Teen Titans Go! (ugh), Twilight Sparkle and Spike from MLP, Star Butterfly, and some of the main characters from Steven Universe (I wouldn’t know any of their names because I don’t watch the show), all coming together to lecture us about the dangers of sex before marriage!

If only I had any other skills besides music (e.g. any skills that could actually make any money), I could get my own job and move out. As of now, though, my dad has the power to kick me out if I don’t get all As.

True enough. I just feel like I found out way too late into the semester that there is a ton of stuff I didn’t remember to turn in (or know that I had to begin with).

What the hell is exams week doing to me? Yesterday, I accidentally set my alarm clock for 11:30 PM instead of AM. That’s, like, a mistake that middle schoolers make, not college students.
 
I’ve been having serious anxiety and intentionally not checking my grades online because I don’t want to see what I got for the classes, but my dad says that he wants to see them. I know that I have a B in at least one class, but if I don’t get straight As, I know that my dad will probably hate me… and got help me if I ever get a C.
 
Oh yeah, and I look like utter crap, too. Really noticeable bags under my eyes and wrinkles on my face mixed with my zits somehow coming back. Because I’ve always wanted to mix the worst aspects of being an old person with those of being a teenager. And I can’t even get my hair looking good.
 
I would say more, but I think someone would probably try to claim that my problems aren’t valid due to me not being a starving African child or whatever (like pulling the “DURR HURR FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS” card).
