Made those tags fan creation tags. :D

I asked if somepony on the staff can do the aliasing. :)

Seen it on several artwork descriptions recently, but I believe it’s a type of con and should be characterized.

To add to that, here’s the post from one of the artists announcing that The Grand Galloping 20s is the official title for the series.

1920s au now has an official name, the grand galloping 20s, can it get renamed with an alias

If you ask the staff to make “1920s au” an alias to whatever the proper name of that series winds up being, and they do it, then it’ll automatically change the tag on all relevant images and you won’t need to retag any old pictures.

Asking since bixels may give 1920s au a proper name, if the tag is getting changed should I not edit any images and it’ll get changed automatically or will I need to retag all of them if a new name is chosen?

Should two sided posters get the tag? It started as a series by one person but turned into a meme/trend.

The list of currently-implemented categories is elsewhere in that same document (plus uncategorized), but seemed off-topic for this thread, so I didn’t bring it up.

Not sure how I could’ve worded it better, but I actually meant the different tag color types. Your list is also real useful though and should also get put in the section(s).

FWIW, at the moment, the namespaces that automatically display with the content-fanmade category are art pack:, comic:, fanfic:, series:, and video:.

The other automatically-categorized namespaces are artist:, colorist:, editor:, generator:, prompter:, photographer:, oc:, and spoiler:.

Here’s one that needs a pink tag.

comic: auto-colors them. Just like art pack: and whatnot. All I did was add the tag. You should ask another staff member what types of tags like this exist and recommend they put it on a dang list under Tag Guidelines or FAQs under the Tags category with “What are tag categories and how many are there?” along with a link “To find out more, see: Tag Guidelines”. Would also help explain what extra tags could go on an image.

I had already swapped the tags over to comic:*. Guess I should’ve mentioned that.

I asked somepony to help with that. They’ll help with this request.

Gave them all fanmade pink tags. Thanks! :)

I was just about to make a post about that, since I just discovered it in another way! Should it have the “comic:” prefix, or would that not work well because the comic already has a colon in it?
