It’s not letting me edit it, but if the image says she’s a girl, it’s obviously true in the context of the image. That would even apply if I made an image of Rarity claiming she was a boy or something like that.

The image I linked above is fanart that was clearly drawn as a girl and a mod added a “male” tag, which is an insult to the artist. That needs to be modified! This is ridiculous!

Then remove both gender tags for official images, stop tagging images of her as a girl as “Rule 63” and especially stop assigning genders to fan art that do not make it clear one way or the other.

Jim Miller has been proven wrong. Tagging her as a boy is like tagging Derpy as one just because Tabitha thought she was.

You incorrectly tagged fan art of a girl as if she were a boy, which she isn’t! It’s an insult to the artist and the character! The artist never said they were drawing a male! You changed it because of a provably incorrect tweet from Jim Miller (who knows nothing.)

Why are you taking Jim Miller’s word for it, though. She should not be tagged as a boy when she obviously isn’t. No boy in the show has ever had that muzzle or eyelashes. Unless she’s trans, she’s obviously proven to be a girl from the show. Tweets are not more canon than actual episodes.

Nothing in the episode proves the character is a girl any more than it proves they are a boy, and artists have been drawing them as both pretty consistently. You don’t have to like it, but that doesn’t change things.

Your opinion doesn’t change how things are tagged. You are free to imagine any and all images of them as a girl if you want, even if the artist didn’t intend them to be. But that doesn’t mean to change tags just because you want it.
