Yes. The badge is the ‘Twinkling Balloon’ badge. We had a long discussion about this via PM already - if you’re still confused about it please re-read that PM and if that doesn’t help reply to that PM and I’ll try to answer your questions again.

I don’t know that they must, but I am not aware of any where they didn’t.

The way I worked the badges was awarding the participant badges first, then if someone else was the artist of the image I checked if the artist had a profile here and if they did I gave them a badge.

So I didn’t award any badges for OCs for anyone who does not have a profile here, which means that those OCs also didn’t qualify any artists for badges.

I’ll ask next time I’m in mod chat to see if anyone else has ever handled anything like this, or what the best way to handle this is, but given that no one but me replied to your original question I suspect that you are an edge case we haven’t encountered before.

So,to helping other participate in the collab, this “other” I drew must have their own profile too?

The problem was that you are an edge case that hadn’t been considered, so there’s no “this is how we handle that” for your case.

The badge you’re asking about is really for helping others participate in the collab and get their own badge. But in this case there isn’t an “other”.

The way it normally works is if someone else gets the participation badge for something you drew, then you get the artist badge for drawing their OC. But since the other OC you drew wasn’t for someone participating in the collab, it’s more like you drew two OCs for yourself, which several people do and we don’t give the artist badge for that.

I can ask about it again while we work badges for this years collab.

It’s been a year, and I haven’t got my Philomena badge yet. Can someone please explain?
