Geth are a gestalt consciousness of “programs” with a pooled intelligence based on group consensus. They basically (
with a few exceptions) share processing power through wi-fi, and the more that are connected, the stronger their intelligence becomes.
[ Mass Effect 3 spoilers! ]
(They also didn’t adopt the reaper’s “organic-like” code until the Quarian flotilla began an invasion of Rannoch in the 3rd game.)
Technically, the eezo nodules inside of an organic biotic’s nervous system are just like any other mass effect drive core, and from what we’ve seen with geth armatures, colossi, bomber drones, and hoppers, they’re open to non-ordinary designs.
So if they decided to make a biotic geth, there’s probably 3 ways of doing this, which are;
1.) A single geth platform with an eezo core (or small nodules scattered across it’s chassis), along with a more than average number of programs for processing power.
(would probably look either like a prime, armature, or reaper scion husk)
2.) Same as above, but with processing power scattered across more than one platform as a physical squad.
(maybe the 1st concept could partially also use this tactic as well for “fine tuning” the accuracy, duration, and strength of their
biotic abilities, by like… re-purposing the gestalt mind of a reserved squad of geth troopers for increased processing power)
3.) Handheld smart-weapons.
:P
(kind of like Tyranid bio-weapons)
