In the 21st century, modern pony civilization came to an end in the form of nuclear fire. No city was spared, and no one was unaffected. Now, the world had reverted to an older state, more familiar to that of the medieval age.
In the early days after the war, Kevlar and Glocks were common sights. Now, you are more likely to see a leather vest, or an iron cuirass, paired with a single shot breech-loading pistol, or an axe.
Mutants roam the world, killing those unfortunate enough to go out unarmed. But.. their is civilization, once again. Kingdoms have risen up out of the ashes of old citities, in North America. The surviving ponies made the slow effort to rebuild, and soon, the fruits of their labors would rise up. Some of the most powerful of these kingdoms would be Maryland, Manhattan, Ontario, and Texas. Each have their own major strengths and weaknesses. Maryland values and hoards old tech, and has a well organized and uniform army. Texas has fertile land, and almost never suffers from a food shortage. Manhattan is a trading empire, and it’s people rest safely, knowing their island kingdom is safe from land invasion, or mutant attacks. And Ottowa… Well, that’s just the thing. That place is a mystery. No outsiders really know what it is like, but it is speculated to have become a religious state.
But now, some of these empires are expanding. Maryland now considers the ancinet territory of Virgina, and DC, as part of it’s territory. Manhattan seeks to rebuild New York. And it is speculated, that the Ohio River Valley has become a haven for slave trading.
Now, with more and more ponies being born into this new age, stories are aplenty. What will your story be?
