Warhammer 40K: Feast of the Undead (Very NSFW! And very Grimdark!)

Yes. There are zombies in 40k. They’re the result of Nurgle heresy basically. Aaaaanyway, the setting for this RP will be a Hiveworld and I’m looking for people who can play Imperial characters, Inquisitors, Commissars, gangers, regular civilians etc etc. if you want to be someone else like an Eldar, PM me and we’ll talk about it. For now, create a character sheet. You can be Canon characters but try to avoid the mane six since I like to think of them as Primarchs.

We’re about to begin! After I make my post, make a post about what you and your characters are doing. This is all in the upper parts of the hive and before shit hits the fan.

In the Grim Darkness of the far future, there is only war. In the dark shadows of the Imperium’s many Hive Worlds, cults worshipping the ruinous powers of chaos plot in secrecy against the Imperium of Man. On the hive world of Proteus IV, while the Imperium citizens celebrate the Feast of the Emperor’s Ascension, cultists who worship Nurgle are now ready to put their plans into action…
 
The streets of Proteus IV was abuzz with activity, the people of the upper hive were preparing for a military parade that would celebrate the God Emperor and his forces. Many of the citizens had been allowed to take the day off to help prepare for and attend the parade. Meanwhile, in the lower hives the brutal life of the inhabitants of the lower hives continue. Here, only gangs provided any semblance of law for their presence was tolerated by the planetary governor so long as they provided him with weapons from the factories. The sounds of gunfire masked the moans and groans that were coming from the shadows.
 
Lieutenant Morgan’s uniform and armor had been properly cleaned and made presentable. The rest of the PDF forces were preparing alongside him and were excited to show off to the citizens. Many of the PDF were so focused on the parade that hardly any noticed the reports of heavy gunfire and explosions coming from the lower hive. An officer noticed this and relayed this information to the governor who just brushed it off as usual gang warfare. The PDF were ordered to ignore the lower hive and focus on the upcoming parade.

As a lord commissar, Red Glare was happy to witness the parade… But always kept his plasma pistol and power sword on him, regardless.

He was posted here at the request of one of his friends, this was supposed to be an easy gig for now. Monitor Proteus IV’s PDF and mantain their discipline, though this was far from an easy gig since many of the younger PDF guardsmen lacked the experience of regular guardsmen and made constant mistakes while the older PDF guardsmen lacked any semblance of discipline

The hospice ran by Almoness-Advance Silvicia of the Adepta Sororitas Hospitallers continues working on despite the celebrations, providing charity medical services to the usual droves of destitute lower-hive citizens, as well as summarily euthanizing and cremating a few dozen victims to a recently encountered and contagious disease, found to inflict severe cases of necrosis, torpor, hyperphagia, and rabidly-aggressive mental states.
