Let’s see: generous bosom with cleavage, exposed mid-riff, sultry look and pose. Yeah, I’d say that qualifies for Suggestive.

Nope. Safe. Most of these questions wound be resolved if you all read the tag guidelines and the definitions on the individual rating tag pages.

I did read that, and concluded that the image would fall under suggestive due to the individual being scantily clad, sultry in composition and clearly created with the intent to invoke arousal.

If this is “scantily-clad” (a term not in the tag guidelines for the very reason that it’s ill-defined), then people in swimwear must be nude.  
She’s holding a book on a couch smiling at you with her legs crossed (something that generally means a lack of sexual invitation, as opposed to open legs).

I’d call that pic “sexy” for sure (the pony one, not Merkel… Urg…) but suggestive is beyond that, it’s part of the sexual ratings. So technically doesn’t fit the “suggestive” rating. This is a case where different sensibilities will see different things, so best bet is to fall back on the rule letter.

Odd question. A drawing of a pony holding a drawing of a pony waving his dong around would be explicit, right?

I have opened a thread for rating tag discussion, hopefully it’s a welcome split from this tag general.

I feel like we could use a tag for innocuous images of Cozy Glow edited to state that she’s evil.

I’m not saying the decision is wrong, just that that particular reasoning is slightly flawed.

The thing to realize here is that shes’s a large-breasted, high-hip-to-waist-ratio female; uncross her legs and the talk will about how she’s being sexually inviting by narrowly opening up her skirt to whoever’s in front of her. Don’t mistake a woman being sexy with a woman not being acceptable to be seen by children (suggestive tries to capture the latter).

I’ve always been under the impression that the former is more meant for that single anime-type sweatdrop as opposed to the latter, but I guess no one tags it that way anyway so w/e

I’m pretty sure that’s correct, and for when a character is just sweating, well that’s what the plain old sweat tag is for. It does seem unnecessary to have all three tags.

This image has been tagged both ‘blowing a kiss’ and ‘kissing’
 

 
Is that an appropriate thing to do? I ask because I noticed that ‘blowing a kiss’ does not imply ‘kissing’, and I thought that something might be wrong.

Indeed “kissing” should only be tagged when lips (or lips or tongue, I’m not sure on that) meet another’s body…I think.

Why is Ditzy Doo seperate when there’s only 100 images and they’re all of Derpy Hooves or Flutter Doo?

Ditzy Doo is technically the name of Ghouled Derpy Hooves from Fallout Equestria, beyond that, I don’t know.

Oh, also Ditzy Doo was named in Winter Wrap Up, I think that usually refers to a purple maned version of Derpy, but I’m a little shaky on that.

Ditzy Doo is the purple maned version of Derpy.  
Of course, since literally no one reads the tag descriptions, people add the tag to a lot of unrelated stuf.
