Righty. Unless anyone has strong feelings to share, I’ll try to properly update both tags today or tomorrow.

What in the world in palindrome get? It looks like a bunch of unrelated tags, and a google search didn’t turn up anything enlightening.

The image number. Which isn’t too exciting.

Any kind of “get” relates to the image number or post number assigned by the website. Some people think it’s special for whatever reason when your post or image contains 3 or 4 identical digits in a row, or has an unusual sequence of digits like a palindrome.

Would it be worth adding a description to the tag? It doesn’t seem very obvious. I know what a palindrome is, I just didn’t think to equate that to the image number at all.

Who exactly is maplejack? Is it an oc?

I think she’s a character from the MAD TV parody of MLP called My Little War Horse and if that’s the case, she’s technically not an OC.

She actually is out of the MAD TV parody called My Little War Horse, which is a fair bit old.

Also, I noticed kevinsano’s artist tag description says “Use the tag artist:kevinsano edits for any edits of this artist.” Does this apply to other artist with tons of edits? For instance, megasweet has 499 pictures that are edits. Before I make a mistake, does this mean remove artist:megasweet and replace it with edit, artist:megasweet edits ?

It varies depending on the artist. Some artists don’t want edits in their gallery so they request for people to use a specific edit tag for their art. Others don’t mind edits and don’t request to have another tag for it.

That’s something I’m curious about myself, you’d think all of them would have gotten fan art or something.

I’ve noticed that cowboy boots is missing the shoes tag. Can any admin add that?

festival filters is supposed to be yellow and implied to the Equestria girls s2 tag.

Mad (TV Series) actually had at least 5 different sketches with MLP-like characters, and one mention of EQG. Maplejack was actually from their Cowboys & Aliens parody, Cowboys and Equestrians. Maplejack took off because of the Ask Maplejack blog. In My Little Pwny they had AJ, TS, PP, and RD expies. Another set of FS, PP, AJ, and RD expies came from My Little War Horse. In Adjustment Burro they had a TS expy with Eeyore. Rainbow Dash and Bernstein was the last, I believe, and was actually the real rainbow dash rather than a lookalike.

Also in the “Cowboys and Equestrians” sketch, the pony in question actually calls herself Applejack. But she looks nothing like the real Applejack, so fans nicknamed her Maplejack to distinguish her.
 
All the other sketches did much better jobs of replicating the look of whichever ponies they were copying. And they even got Tara Strong to reprise her voice for all the Twilight Sparkle parodies. So I guess MAD TV’s other pony characters were just regarded as “parody version of Twilight”, “parody version of Rainbow Dash” etc. And thus Maplejack wound up being the only one to get her own identity in the eyes of the fandom.

For images such as >>1900099, >>1824316, >>1925496, is there a tag for these types of backgrounds? If not, would anyone mind “swirly background”, even if some of them are not quite swirls? Or maybe some other name?  
Edit: “Hypnosis background”, maybe?

There’s always the general abstract background tag. But in addition to that, no, it doesn’t seem like there’s a more specific tag yet.

Can we get the comic coloration for this tag please?

According to tag history, this was tagged as “comic:trance sequence”, based on the commissioner’s username. It was later then changed to ““comic:princess cadance x king sombra:/tags/comic-colon-princess+cadance+x+king+sombra due to the tumblr post name.
 
According to >>950379, >>952769, there’s a sequel. This time, it’s tagged comic:trance sequence 2. While I can rename it as “comic:shining armor x king sombra” per tumblr post, it seems that name doesn’t indicate in anyway that it is a sequel. Does anyone else have a suggestion on what to retag it as? Or just stick with “comic:shining armor x king sombra”?

I just see that Italian tag is used everywhere where is the Cartoonito on screen. Cartoonito is not an Italian originally and it shouldn’t have this tag, unless there is something written in Italian, like “nuovo episodio” or they speaking something in Italian.
 
But for real, Russian channel Carousel doesn’t have “Russian” tag (unless there is something written or spoken in Russian), so we really don’t need this tag.

So what does anything think of separating ||Cloaca || and ||Genital Slit || a bit better and NOT have one imply the other.
