Yes I am aware it would be a crazy high scale, but that doesn’t mean to kill it and I don’t want to see anyone wasting their time killing it or other tags like it is all. Complaints are valid, killing is not.

I think if they’re referencing a character feeling flustered or ashamed about being attracted to another character, just like the Stupid Sexy Flanders scene the tag is named after, then the tag does have a purpose.

But in cases where a character is doing nothing but standing around, I don’t think the tag is warrented. Just because a person that is viewing the image thinks it’s sexy, it doesn’t really doesn’t mean they should be tagging it as “Stupid Sexy [name of character]”.
 
I think the tag should NOT fit cases like these:
 

 

 

 
I think there’s a clear difference between the two. I think the former is okay use of the tag while the latter is not. That’s just me though. I’m sure some people would disagree given how people tag it.

Then what about just plain old sexy or sexy * tho?

Basically. It’s a shame because some people may be looking for the meme specifically and having those other images just makes it a bit harder for people to find those kinds of images.
 

 
Yeah, that one might be a bit more complicated. Tags like “sexy” and “cute” are subjective so that muddies things a bit. But some people may be looking up pictures that are specifically cute or sexy so I don’t think the tags should be done away with completely.
 
That being said, I really don’t think people should tag “sexy” on Safe images. And I’ve seen it happen before a lot.

I agree, same applying to any variations that mean the same thing. I also feel that way about breasts, but more so I don’t think breasts, or butt, should just be tagged if they exist but like if they’re at least somewhat in focus or detailed.

Sexy is just one of those subjective tags that is hard to set a clear definition on due to different people having different ideas of what’s “sexy”.
 
Example: What crazy person didn’t tag this as Sexy?!  

 
 
I’m personally a bit more ok on sexy being tagged on “safe”. But that’s just me~

It takes same to nuke “pony” which and, as we deduced, it servers even more niche option, covering only earth ponies, unicorns, pegasi and alicorns plus original species what are just “pony + animal gimmic” (iirc) so I fail to see how this is an argument.

This is not an argument. It harms no one, and you or anyone don’t have to dictatorially enforce it or painstakingly search through every images to add it. Is your argument “well, it can’t be done perfectly so we shouldn’t”? If so it’s just admission what our tagging job is pointless to begin with.  
Also, are “clothes” tag should be nuked too? There’s a lot of images with clothes, and a lot of them aren’t tagged or even any accessory to begin with. Should we purge it because we wouldn’t enforce it fully to every image it applies sans if we gone through every single image to determine whenever there’s any clothes depicted in them?  
If someone who is very into meteorology comes around and decides to tag a specific cloud formation on every image they see it on, will you argue for the tag deletion just as much?

You’re asking for a tag to be on over half the site. JUST so you can add 40,000 images to a search without having to use more than 1 tag. It’s too much for too little.

I’ve repeated myself enough times. I’m not going to continue saying the same thing over and over.  
The last time I’m going to say it:  
A tag on over 65% of the site’s images for the benefit of less than 3% of the images is too much for too little.

This argument is pointless, If someone doesn’t like the tag, they can just ignore it.

This was asked, so what exactly do we tag for lucky bastard given pics like >>293784, >>649314 (deleted) (questionable) 1 female x multiple others or >>2069928 (explicit) 1 futa x multiple others?

Generally, it looks like “Any character that gets what the tagger thinks is the waifu/husbando of the month, or gets a harem”.

This quadruped nonsense really needs to involve admins.
 
IMO it’s on the level of tagging “nose” “eyes” “legs” “wings” etc. on images where those features are not noteworthy.

There is zero rules against ‘redundant’ tagging unless it’s extreme. There is nothing extreme about this or ‘wings’.
 
If you see an image tagged ‘wings’ and get thrown into a violent rage, then the issue is you.
