There are a few folks who repeatedly reupload the same image over and over, like; legendarily so, so all deleted images include the text “If you originally uploaded the file previously located here, please don’t re-upload it - contact us if you feel this was in error and we’ll talk! We’re only human, and mistakes happen.”.
Beyond that, sometime the volunteer deleting the image adds that to the deletion reason as well, especially if the image has already been deleted before. And of course if you do that once, your browser caches the full response and will auto fill for you, so it’s just a “Rule #n” and a carriage return away.
I think the automatic duplication detection stuff sometimes grabs these duplicates so the uploader knows that it’s previously been deleted, or is completely blocked from uploading it, but not always. Depends on how recently the previous image has been deleted and the phase of the moon. Sorry for the hand waving, I haven’t seen how the code does its thing, and I haven’t discerned the pattern through use.
