I think it crosses the line when the anti-molestia people start calling the pro-molestia people rape supporters. If they exist, it probably goes along the lines of an anti-pedobear people calling those who like him pedophile supporters.

Maybe if they could have done that without being called rape supporters, they would have continued trying.

If people who defend princess molestia could possibly be polite, as in not flinging insults, and could acknowledge when challenged that the things Princess Molestia does are wrong, and explain why they can still enjoy it without being a detriment to others, then we’d never have had this drama to begin with.
 
Instead we’ve just gotten more fuel on the fire, in the form of insults and physical threats.

Something that I’d like to add: I personally am not against Jon Joseco’s Molestia comic PER SE. True, at the start of the comic, his Molestia was very much a rapist and a molester (just because it’s implied, even strongly implied, does not negate the fact). However, I like his take on the character now because over the last year or so, he’s been moving AWAY from that portrayal and making sure his “Molestia” isn’t a rapist and molester, but rather a (very) sexually open and promiscuous Celestia, but still somewhat recognizably Celestia.
 
For me, the Down with Molestia thing is more about the MEME itself, rather than Jon’s version of the character. The idea behind Molestia as a meme is of a Celestia who uses her authority and power, both as the alicorn of the sun and co-ruling Princess of Equestria, to coerce ponies under her to have sex with her. They can’t protest, refuse or deny her, or charge her with sexual assault, because if they do any of those, she has the power to either imprison them or banish them, maybe even kill them. (This is the famous Fridge Horror phenomenon TVTropes talks about.) Yet because it’s presented in a “fun” and “comedic” way, rapid fans are more willing to excuse it.
 
Should Jon’s Molestia tumblr be taken down? No, because his Molestia isn’t really a molester and rapist (anymore). Anybody who thinks that’s what Down with Molestia is or should be about, ON EITHER SIDE OF THE DEBATE, has got it all wrong. What Down with Molestia is about, or at least SHOULD be about, is the acceptance and defense of what is clearly rape and rape culture, especially when presented in a “comedic” way, and how that isn’t the right thing to do.
