Sort of? I believe we’re talking about something yet to be touched upon. From what I can deduce from the current knowledge of the subject, I believe it’s more like the mind, thought, is a product made from the bioproducts of bioelectro-chemical processes. I can stick an electrode in certain parts of your brain to make you feel certain emotions, but I can’t stick an electrode in your brain to make you think what I want you to think. Sure, I can make you happy, or sad, or mad, and MAYBE even a complex emotion like rage, which CAN make you think in a direction of a certain way, but not an exact thought.

None of that negates my point that the mind is a product of the brain, though, and that the brain is a physical object produced by biochemistry – and thus, the mind is ultimately a physical process.

Yes and no. It’s electro-chemical reactions that cause your emotions to arise due to chemicals being produced. It is physical, but mental ability and thought aren’t produced by these. Both your right and your left side, in a healthy human being, argue to a degree. (You’re TECHNICALLY two people.) One usually argues a more emotional stance, while the other applies critical thought. It’s why a healthy human being that’s not depressed can produce thoughts which touch on the concerns of others while still completing an overall goal.
 
But as with the image above, some people are educated not with actual data, but with emotional data. Where does this get stored? On the rational side, of course! It’s like crates of crab being stored in a peanut warehouse. Now you have two sides of the brain arguing basically the same point for different reasons, and so you get things like, “My spirit animal is a wolf,” and, “I’m an attack helicopter.”
 
As a student of psychology, I want to research this further, and possibly call it, “Educated Psychosis.”

You’re concerning yourself with the feelings rather than the overall problem. You’re looking at the situation as, “Come here, or die.” That’s not entirely the case, and it’s NOT the US’ problem. Mexico is Mexico. What happens in their country is entirely their problem. If we had a major problem in our country that was moderately difficult to fix, would we just leave? No, we work together to fix it. There are a ton of problems in Mexico, but none of them are the US’ problems.
 
Here’s what’s beneficial from a logical, and non-violent standpoint. The US pays the Mexican government money to employ people to build a more useful wall. Is it the BEST solution? Probably not, but it doesn’t get anyone killed in the process, it helps with Mexico’s financial problems slightly by putting money in their treasury and giving a lot of people jobs for a little over a year if not more, and it helps prevent illegal immigrants from coming into the US at a much more effective rate. This is turn helps put an end to the job crisis in the western US, where I, a 20 year old born in the US and have had a job previously, am having trouble getting one because naturally all businesses would rather pay a minimum age worker than one with some experience but costs more.
 
Once again, Mexico’s problems and the Mexican people’s problems are NOT the US’ problems. We have absolutely no reason to care, nor to get involved, but it is nice that we’re willing to put a few billion toward the wall IF Trump’s plan actually goes through. If the Mexican people want a better life in Mexico, they need to do what’s necessary to achieve that. Unfortunately, there are so many things wrong that a majority of the population isn’t willing to do anything because they need to focus on living. I’m willing to wage that Mexico is about less than 50 years from a revolution, but that’s not exactly going to change the situation. You want to get rid of the cartels? You need money, or a nice friend. The US could put forth a little less than 20% of it’s military and the cartels would be destroyed within a year, but there’s little in it for us. Nothing is free, and Mexico would have to pay for that, as well as for the help in making their government much more effective. You also need a lot of money to fix the major problems in cities and to make healthcare better to increase the life quality.
 
I don’t think you really understand the other conditions that come with just letting people into the country to live a better life. However, let’s assume you do. Would you be willing to let THOUSANDS of illegal immigrants into your city?

The only kind of Mexican taco is a street taco, and that’s commoner food. (Admittedly, good food. I’m not a fan of Mexican food, but those are good.) The taco as many Americans know it as is actually a Spanish Invention. (Meaning the street taco is a derivative of the Spanish invention.) Bernal Diaz del Castillo invented it in 1520.
 
Besides that though, Trump isn’t against hard-working, honest Mexican people. He would want to put up a wall between CanadianLand and good ol’ America if there was a major problem with Canadian Immigrants. It just so happens that Mexico’s economy and other pillars of society are below average, making it a slum for most of it’s people, and that makes the USA seem like a good alternative to most of those people, but something entirely out of reach to do it legally with the under-education and other problems that cripple Mexico. He won’t be able to put up a wall without something going back to Mexico. That usually means money. This helps Mexico and the US because it would help reduce the amount illegal immigrants, put money back into Mexico’s treasury which aids in it’s stability, and strengthens ties between the two nations.
 
If Trump wanted an easier solution, it would be going to war with Mexico, which would be one of the easiest wars in history due to the US’ military having a massive advantage. It would most-likely be over within a single year. But it comes with so many consequences that it’s an extremely stupid idea. Trump doesn’t want an easy solution, he wants a beneficial solution, for both countries.
