I happen to take a pretty strict definition of canon also. Without indisputable video evidence, they can always come back later and deny it. It’s like when someone falls off a cliff and they don’t find the body: yeah, he’s probably dead, buuut…
 
That said, EqG Shiny/Cady is certainly a reasonable interpretation of the facts as they stand. EqG Rarijack less so, because they’re not canonically married in FiM, but you can definitely see where they’re coming from.

Apparently on a Chinese site for Kung-Fu Panda (which seems to be official), apparently not only are Po and Tigress canon, but they also got married, and Tigress is now pregnant.
