It’s Season 9. And this is hardly the first episode in it where I’ve noticed the writers seem to be slipping into fanfiction mode, if you know what I mean. That piece of garbage Between Dark And Dawn was clearly pure fan service, and The Last Crusade and A Trivial Pursuit seemed very much like it too. And now this. I think since it’s the last season, the writers are just giving all the fans and shippers crazy stuff that they want, and it’s not staying within the limits.
