I actually really love this. I’m the last guy to be in favor of fan pandering, but seeing this actually made me cry for a bit. It shows that they really do care. And I’m not even a diehard LyraBon shipper.

It was fan pandering.  
They deliberately left “hints”, so if you lyrabon shipper then you could see this as canon, but if you are not, then you could not.  
But here there is no “subtleness” around here.

Have you not seen the hints? They are not subtle. They say “Best friends” but their eyes say “Lovers”. XD

The fact that MLP has TWO “last season lesbian couples” is what is killing me…
