when spike destroyed sugar cube corner that was cause of his dragon greed getting to him, and where rarity was doing that to ponyville, that was cause of spike giving her that spell book which he took from that hidden chamber in the castle of the two sisters, and rarity read it and well it took control of her and had no memory of what happened after she casting that spell, so the first part was cause of dragon greed taken him over and the second is him more responsible cause he intentionally give rarity that book that controlling her, and he admitted it as is twilight understandably very upset with for doing that.
and yeah i’m aware that jesus himself said that quote, yet I stand the fact that he willingly tear sunny’s home down, and will not reconsider my choice until a scene of him is restoring her home to what it was before, or maybe any pure selfless act to one or few others is made in canon.
and to that 3rd paragraph, any main character is surely as important to the main story as any other franchise besides mlp g4.

That is an AMAZING message to teach kids, don’t you think? Sprout is already Sunny’s friend. The movie used several minutes of its precious run time just to narrate that at the opening. If the argument is just destroying the light house, then that’s pretty strawman. Spike destroyed the Sugar Cube Corner and the Carousel Boutique. Was he shunned by Ponyville? No. Because in the following episode anything he destroyed was magically rebuilt. Rarity did WAY worse crystallizing everything. Nobody cared afterwards. Twilight would’ve been a hypocrute lecturing Rarity because of what she pulled in Lesson Zero.
When it comes to Sprout’s redemption, always consider this simple saying. “One who is without sin can cast the first stone.” You think Sunny or any of the other ponies are squeaky clean?
Also here’s an unpopular opinion. G5’s only main character is Sunny. Hitch, Zipp, Pipp, Izzy and even Sprout are only secondary COMPARED to Sunny’s role. If you guys think AJ or Fluttershy was just as important as Twilight in G4, you’re fooling yourselves.
This all has a long story to tell. We could speculate about how Hitch and Sprout’s mom are partly to blame… No one is a “super hero”. So yeah. But O don’t have an energy for this.

Sprout being part of them is not Canon though, plus I have to remind you that he intentionally demolished Sunny’s only home, and it’ll probably not make sense cause sunny I think will not accept him in the group that easily in spite of her reuniting all 3 pony species, and unless he rebuilts her home AND directly apologizes, I’m not buying this.
