It’s a family show with strict regulations and a family friendly image to adhere to. They kinda cant.
 
Comic only gets away with it because…well, how many children read comics that aren’t manga these days?

this show really needs more teeth and edges instead of everything going right and happy all the time…

Means: We are not gonna kill of any of her friends.
