@Zennistrad
Except they haven’t been “those two guys”, they’ve been “dumb and dumber”, except in a really annoying, unfunny fashion.
@Background Pony
EoH focused on all six roughly equally.
RoH focused on all six roughly equally.
ACW focused on Twilight while her friends were pushed aside and didn’t do much of anything.
CE focused on Twilight while her friends were relegated to mundane tasks.
Crazy idea time: Should we set up some sort of Twilicorn Early Warning System (TEWS), and have someone who watches the episodes as they air to report back on how much screen time Twilicorn has, and how many instances of her being treated like a godprincess there are in the episode? That way, people can decide whether they want to risk watching an episode that might otherwise get them angry or sick.
@Background Pony
Oh for the love of, TWILIGHT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE MAIN CHARACTER OF THE SHOW. NOTHING ELSE HAS CHANGED. We’re still gonna have episodes that focus on other characters, it’s gonna be 26 episodes so I’m pretty sure not all of them are going to solely focus on Twilight herself. God, some people are ignorant.
@Background Pony
At the beginning of MMC; presumably, after the conclusion of the s4 opening two-parter, it’ll switch back from the Twilight Sparkle show to being an ensemble cast with Twilight being only slightly more important than the others to the series. So maybe just skip the first two episodes and catch up on plot developments afterwards, and then you can enjoy at least some of season 4 with the rest of us.
@Der_Fur_Shur
Agreed. There’s lots of good background and secondary characters in the show. All the more reason to hope that it doesn’t focus on Twilight too much.
@Background Pony
Dash often makes the arrogant aggressive I’m-better-than-you face, it’s normal for her. What I found interesting is Twilight’s horn looks like the tip was broke or cut off.
@Background Pony
I can’t honestly say if she was or if she wasn’t (and I’m too lazy to check, how pathetic is that?), but I can only say that we haven’t had a two-parter that wasn’t about her problems or responsibilities, and she has been the one who has had to resolve most of the conflicts.
I just hope that her newfound royal status doesn’t become the whole purpose of the series. I love Twilight, but I love the rest of the principal cast, too, and I want to hear about their lives as well.
