If you’re referring to this comment, then you should try reading it in it’s correct context. It clearly refers to the topic of originality as whole and have no direct relation to sex/memes. In context, they’re used as example to signify the unoriginality of this piece, to add to the ongoing discussion that people only upvote unoriginal ideas.

If you where just pointing out how it uses a meme I wouldn’t of said anything, but you clearly point sex being a major part and the humor not being a part.

In summation:  
Someone claimed this wasn’t original and I agreed. Other people disagreed with that statement and I brought up points to support my case. A pointless dick measuring contest started shortly after and here we are.

I don’t understand why he underestimates the humorous potential of this edit.  
And sexual innuendoes play a meaningless role here. This has nothing sexual compared to, say, old Benny Hill’s sketches.

Nah, he’s right, that’s indeed what happens most of the times. People do want cheap lulz. That would explain a lot of stupid memes and viral phenomena all over the Internet.
 
But… @SuperEdit you’re actually wrong on this specific case. There’s not friggin’ way a silly edit would achieve a score of 1100+ (and growing!) if it wasn’t something special.  
That is, it’s got a lot of comedic value. The lesbian symbol was quite unexpected, and when the watcher is left wondering “Wait, what?!”, the “Ah! Gay!” meme happens… which is not expected too, because the whole clip still retains the style of the show.  
Perfectly executed, no “if”s, not “but”s. And I bet it took you way more than 10 minutes that are needed for a “cheap lol”.
 
No wonder you deserve the tag “the great and powerful superedit”. This is no “cheap lol”, it’s a ton of fun!
