I’ve heard the tabloids make that claim constantly since the incident was first reported, but I never actually came across any evidence suggesting that was the case, or even for that matter that it was as much of a racial divide as the Torygraph made it out to be, after all there were multiple white people arrested in conjunction with the Rotherham ring, as well as just a general exposure of widespread corruption and incompetence in the constabulary and council, and of course the story itself broke a matter of weeks apart from the Jimmy Savile story breaking and the consequent discovery of just how hard the BBC had covered up their own in-house kiddy diddlers. The general trend just seems to indicate that until very recently we’ve handled rape allegations as a whole terribly.

Watching now, haven’t gotten to the hate speech bit yet but I can assure you that political correctness is a real problem. I live in the UK where two major rape scandals were covered up for fear of being labeled racist. The perpetrators were mostly Muslim men, and even the news tiptoed around the issue, instead calling them “Asian”. One was in Rotherham, another was in Telford.

If you can stomach it and have the time here’s a good video. Most of the footage from the rally itself starts around half an hour in, I should warn you that the chant about gassing used a slur meaning “jews” that I edited out for obvious reasons. As for “political correctness” the far right has been complaining about that bogeyman for over 150 years now, whining on about that is nothing new, the only thing that’s changed is the amount of whining.

I don’t have any actual statistics or anything, but I’ve noticed a lot of people on the right are sick to death of political correctness. Many moderates and even leftists too. Keep in mind I’m not an American so I’m totally speculating.

Do you have any actual evidence of that? In terms of trend analysis the alt right’s rise happened before the extreme left. Also race as a whole is a bullshit pseudoscience so it always falls apart under scrutiny. And yeah people were chanting for genocide, the ones you heard were from the nighttime portion of the rally, the more vile stuff was during the day, you could see it on the streams made by white supremacist figures James Allsup, Baked Alaska, and yet another self-described neo-nazi group Vanguard America (which the murderer James Alex Fields was a member of). Bonus points there were even more Nazi banners, David Duke, Richard Spencer, Chris Cantwell, Rhodesian flags, and ads for Daily Stormer. At one point there was a group of guys chanting “hail victory” which is “sieg heil” translated to English and shouting “gas the jews, race war now”. On the bright side we did get to see how smart these nazis are when Baked Alaska peppersprayed himself.

Let me make a point. Oh wait. I don’t have one. Psych!

Okay, fine. So that’s four people portrayed with Nazi/White Nationalist banners. I agree the extreme right is making a comeback, but I blame the left (intersectionality in particular) for that. Do not mistake white nationalism for Nazism, there is a difference (but not much).
 
It’s hilarious that most of these alt-right race puritans are “amerimutts” (in their own words) themselves though. Who do you even class as white at that point? How are you going to tell who’s white accurately enough? Make every single person take a DNA test? “Whites” aren’t even a race, europids and slavs are races.

Really? All I heard was “Jews will not replace us” and “blood and soil” being chanted. I haven’t heard anything about killing people, so I would like to see evidence of that. Unless you’re talking about those idiots on Discord trying to prepare for a massacre or some dumb shit like that. I’m aware of that, but as far as the chanting of such stuff goes I’m not aware.

The vast majority of people acting on and enforcing “politically correctness” are on the right. For example, look at how many people lost their shit and started making death threats just because a football player decided to kneel during the national anthem. “Political Correctness” was never anything but a straw man created by the religious right to push back against people calling them out on their bigotry and their and marginalization of anyone who wasn’t a rich white heterosexual male.

Hell, the term “alt.right” itself was coined by neo-Nazi Richard Spencer entirely as a PR move, in order to make themselves seem more like a harmless political organization, and less like the murderous bigots and xenophobes that they are and have repeatedly proven themselves to be. You want to read something truly disturbing, go look at the Stormfront public relations guide that was leaked a few months back. It’s a pretty sophisticated set of guidelines on how to reform the image of neo-Nazis and make them appear to be just ordinary folks, while still pushing the traditional Nazi agenda.

Most of us agree Nazis are terrible. But nowadays anyone who does not support a certain mindset is called a Nazi and most of us actually respond to that.  
Heck, one of my friends is a Jew and recently in a chat with him he said politically correct people are a lot more dangerous than Nazis nowadays. He says he fears the day when he will be unable to express his own religion freely because it offends minorities.
