Emerald just blurts out the first thing that comes to his mind.
“Okay, okay jeez, don’t blow your load yet. I think I have a bit of an idea of what you want. Here, follow me.” Joyride says, walking off.
They walk through nice looking streets until they turn down a road labeled Coursewalk and reach a house labeled 304.
“One sec, Lemme get the key.” Joyride says reaching into nothing and grabbing a massive of ring of keys that clinks loudly. She shuffles through them and picks out a deep, sky blue key and turns the lock.
The inside of this room appears to be a homely combination of kitchen, dining room, and scullery. It’s like they walked into a restaurant. A menu from a nearby table floats off its’ perch and towards them, but Joyride closes the door.
“Oh, that’s not right. I always forget which key it is…” The unicorn says, picking out a striped red and green key from the key ring, and placing it in the lock and opening the door, “Ah, here it is.”
This room is much less furnished, and seems to lack windows. The walls and ceiling are a shade of ruby, and bare of any decorations except for gold and walnut colored chandelier in the middle of the room. The bed’s comforter shares the same color as the wall, though the frame is the same deep brown as the chandelier. Off to another side there is a dark brown chair and a door to somewhere Emerald can’t see.
“What was so urgent that you needed me, Joyride?” An unfamiliar voice says.
Emerald whips around to see a griffon standing at the door looking at Joyride.
“I found you a playmate.”
The griffon looks Emerald up and down and says “I’m not much for fillies.”
“Then you are in luck, because he’s a colt.”
“You don’t say?”
The griffon then just stares at Emerald.
