Description

Guys, before you say anything, Hedorah was a pretty legit threat in Godzilla vs the Smog Monster. He killed thousands of people and even fought Godzilla to a standstill. Plus, let’s be honest; HE’S FUCKING HARD TO KILL!

you know i’m actually surprised that guy who has a red smiley face as his oc isn’t here to point out why hedorah loses, or at the very least just give his input.

I’ve actually seen Hedorah (the Showa version, not the weakling that was featured in Final Wars even though I love that movie to death) in action and he was a hardcore villain in the late Showa era. He killed thousands of people just so he could feed on our pollution, Godzilla’s atomic ray would do nothing to him (in the movies, he wasn’t affected while in his debut IDW Publishing comic, it just went right through his gelatinous body). All the Smooze did was flood everything and give anypony it touched an attitude problem. Hedorah killed people by using toxic gas that melted flesh from bone, throwing globs of his own body which was acidic and could shoot lasers from his eyes. Yeah, the Smooze was as big a threat as any kid’s tv-made-movie villain but Hedorah had a bodycount. He is even regarded as one of Godzilla’s most powerful enemies.

Also, in regards to Hedorah being hard to kill, there is a comic book which has him fighting Godzilla and MechaGodzilla, utterly beating the crap out of them, getting blasted apart by Mecha-G’s plasma grenade and having tiny pieces of him supposedly going to become new Hedorahs.
