I don’t often check comments, but its always interesting when i do.
 
To be honest, I’m sorry some of you feel this way. I drew this (along with the artist sweetcream who did the initial line work) to get across what I felt from reading the stories: Something beautiful ruined by the same emotions we use to ruin our own world. greed, hate, etc. but that nothing is so broken it can’t be mended. even if the cost of doing so is great and personally painful.
 
the expressions were supposed to be tired, but determined.  
the background was supposed to be ruined, but still look warm and inviting, with a hint of blue as a promise for a future that might be, if you have the vision to just look up, and imagine what life could be, rather than what it is.
 
…or its just a couple of mary-sue grimdark ocs that ruined teh fandom 5-ever. whichever you like.

You’re mistaken. As mentioned she is a young adult throughout the entirety of the story, so it doesn’t imply anything about the timeline. Secondly she doesn’t have any of the markings that she gets throughout the story, such as the fused pipbuck. Lil’Macintosh isn’t there and she is still in Stable barding which hasn’t been modified no less, either implying that the artist didn’t bother with it or it is quite early in the story.
 
She doesn’t look very terrified, if anything, she wants to get us in bed. But alas that’s not what I want to argue. I haven’t heard much preaching about love and tolerance at all and the fic surely lacks it. It’s the whole point that Equestria has lost it. But these ponies tries to bring friendship and unselfishness back into the world and show that’s there’s still hope. It’s a grim road, but eventually they manage to do their part.
 
I have a feeling you’re mixing together uncanon fics though, such as Project Horizons. It’s popular, but my god it has gone down the shithole and completely screwed over the original canon completely. Avoid mixing them up at all costs.
 
If you want to see art where everything ain’t bad, there are a few. I’ve seen some illustrations depicting the Afterword of the fic and they’re quite cheery. But the reason for why there’s not as many of them as you seem to expect is that it’s the road that counts, not the destination.

The Image shows a terrified Little Pip who, judging by her body proportions is an adult now.
 
And looking at the image I think I can safely assume that the situation of the world she is living in is still SNAFU.
 
People keep telling that Fallout Equestria is about ponies bringing back love and tolerance into the world, but what I have seen so far is the total opposite of what is being preached.
 
If I politely ask to actually show something that does NOT end in tears, bloodshed or an overdramatic scene then people go completely overboard and the Mary Sues and simulair accusations are frequently used.

Yeah, I hate how people have come to use Mary Sue to just mean, “Character I don’t like.” I personally do dislike Blackjack, or rather dislike the ways she’s changed over time, but I would never call her a Mary Sue.

Yup, I just can feel the love and tolerance the little ponies brought back into the world of Fallout Equestria radiate of this drawing.
 
Expecting people put their money where their mouth is and actually turn Equestria into a better place for ponies and others to live in, will rob the artists of possibilities to kill off ponies in the goriest /overdramatic way possible. ;-)
 
Oh and before that ugly thing shows up again, please READ about what a Mary Sue is before using it as an argument, okay?
