If I gave Megan’s favorite pony as Sundance, why didn’t I do Baby Sundance with Molly, considering Molly and Baby Sundance were sold together as toys, right? Well, there’s no evidence of Molly and Baby Sundance together in the cartoon, and there is a ton of evidence that Shady is Molly’s favorite. In the movie, during our heroes encounter Rose Dust in Flutter Valley, Molly gives Shady a hug. In “Return of Tambelon,” in the beginning when they’re playing Hide and Seek, Molly says, “hide with me, Shady!” When Shady comes across her hiding place. Then, there’s “The Glass Princess” episode.
