Well, in a way, it does give development for canon!Sombra. We can just use the opposite version of alt!Sombra personality.

I have mixed feelings about him. He’s interesting, but not what I was looking forward to when I heard that King Sombra was going to return in the comics. I wanted to see the evil Sombra from “The Crystal Empire”, only more developed in order to make up for how he was handled in the show.  
Plus, I think the whole “Bizzaro world where black is white” thing has been done to death.

i restate my earlier question: why are we still trying to find a name… for a character that already has a name? why can’t we just keep it ‘good king sombra’? not every alternate character needs a name.

sombra is spanish for shadow…I say we call him semaforo, which is spanish for light.

All the more reason to believe Good Chrysalis have also the hots for him…everyone seem to be enchanted by the Good King good looks, evil Celestia, good Celestia, probably half of the mane 6 (and the rest could be convinced with enough time), good thing good Luna stayed in home, otherwise she would too have fallen at first sight (possible reason for Celestia wanting to kept her sister from meeting good Sombra? mhhh…)
 
To add Good Chrysalis to his harem of fanatics is almost a sure bet, knowing IDW. Believe me, if she makes an appereance in the arc (aside from the glass portrait) she will too be swooning for the gallant King of all Equestria.

In regular circumstances, I would have the crazy headcanon that Good Chrysalis from the alternate universe is also in love with Sombra (unrequited and one sided, of course)…
 
But being IDW, well, IDW, I might as well forget about headcanons and give it as canon already, this guys throw shipping as confetti.

Now i dont know who i prefer anymore. Good or Bad Sombra… can i be in the middle?

And I have to say I rather like the tag ‘Good King Sombra’. As opposed to regular ‘King Sombra’, who wasn’t so good. In any sense of the word.
